If you're buying a Subaru, you're buying it because you value safety and reliability of the car, because your life/livelihood depend on it. You're not concerned about the infotainment system.
For all the garbage Mozilla puts out, this is actually a good idea.
This looks great. Maybe a Kontakt killer? There's definitely a niche for something like this. It's good cross-promotion for your sound libraries too.
Yeah, seems like AI slop is going to kill GitHub's free tier. I just don't see how the economics of having to host this much slop and provide service to slopcoders is going to convert into dollars for them otherwise. None of the humans involved are going to end up in big enterprises. It's all cost, with no pathway to revenue.
To me, this is great that demonstrates how ridiculous carbon capture and storage is. I just can't imagine us paying to do something like this at scale, when we have a much more straightforward alternative: Stop burning fossil fuels, and use clean energy instead. Right? Like why even both going through the effort of carbon capture, when we're still going to have to stop burning fossil fuels anyways, in order to fix the climate?
Sounds good, but the first step in your quickstart is getting an API key, and I'm oh, so I guess your sales pitch was a lie and this is really just another Cloudflare-like play to build another intermediary in the internet. If that's not the case, then I shouldn't need an API key for hello world...
It's 100% fake, and half the comments here are from 20 year olds working at AI companies.
It's the ultimate product for marketers. It inserts itself as an advertisement into every conversation now and defends itself against criticism. Just crazy. There's no hope for the rest of us.
This is such an insightful comment. It also underscores why these AI companies' marketing efforts are promoting rewrites.
If you need decentralized messaging and not some cryptocoin front, Delta Chat (
https://delta.chat/) is what you're looking for.
Giving the oil companies, some of the richest companies on the planet, MORE money is a benefit? Is that your idea of good governance? You don't think there's better uses of that money that's coming right out of your pocket and everybody elses?
if you're rich enough, you too can buy the US government
I stumbled across this a few weeks ago via Google or Kagi. One problem I have with a lot of AI tooling today is that I can't tell if it's a legit product, or just a toy that somebody vibe-coded in a day. AI can easily crap out a website that looks like this.
This is all just my 2 cents, so take it with a grain of salt, but I see trust and authenticity as a huge issue (made worse by LLMs), and it's doubly so with AI-based companies because it attracts flies.
One question I have is it's not clear to me that this all just doesn't boil down to plain old SEO. Does your platform generate recommended actions on how to improve your ChatGPT ranking? (and how is that different from just improving your PageRank?)
If this is a business, which it sure seems like it is, then this is such a messed up idea. Exploiting whistleblowers and the whistleblowing system for profit. And they're trying to incentivize whistleblowers with money too.
Whistleblowers take all of the risk here, and only get 20% of the proceeds. Seems like a pretty shit deal, besides being confoundingly greedy.
There already are people you can trust, who aren't anonymous, who are professionals bound by ethics, and who aren't out to sue for profit: Journalists. [email protected]
We don't use American English in Canada either.
> How is C meaningfully more accessible than rust
They've been teaching C in universities for like 40 years to every Computer Science and Engineering student. The number of professionally trained developers who know C compared to Rust is not even close. (And a lot of us are writing Python because it's easy and productive, not because we don't know other languages.)
Bragging that your program is faster than anything written in Python is a low bar, lol.
Also, it seems like a sign that even Python tooling needs to not be written in Python now to get reasonable performance.
What a stupid, arrogant response.
Canadian here - We don't need a newspaper to foment anti-Trump sentiment, thank you very much.
As others said - use your network. Making a post on LinkedIn and trying to get your network to reshare it could help a lot.
It's absolutely abhorrent that you think combating the effects of racism in the healthcare system is political. Do you also believe that about sexism in the healthcare system?
Did you put rate limiting rules on your webserver?
Why was that not enough to mitigate the DDoS?
What kind of monster doesn't give us WASD or at least ctrl to shoot?
Awesome captcha though :)
I appreciate the response, but that's not what I was asking. I'll rephrase as a workflow question: After I make a design in your editor, I'll want to reuse that for future emails. Is there a way to load a saved design back in (that I previously made in your editor) so I don't have to redesign every email from scratch?
Looks awesome. Is there a way to load saved templates?
That's a pretty broad, borderline-racist statement, and I think you should consider deleting it.
That's how US media would like to portray Canada (socialism bad!), but we're doing just great over here and making pretty decent decisions for ourselves. We don't get everything right at first, and we're way behind on our green transition, but we'll get there in the end.
This new tax complements our CanCon rules [1] which help protect Canadian artists.

Yeah, but he gets great time-on-site engagement numbers by doing that. Somebody give this guy a job in Silicon Valley!
