Best time to start was back then, but second best time to start is now. Give it a whopping try before you toss in towels.

Where would be the next best place for a true discussion on the topic?

Just a single day after showing up on the platform. Did she even get to post a single thing? This screams absolute non-sense to me, and for her safety she probably could really use the spotlight of all big platforms.

Most comfortable with Python and full-stack apps using Javascript or C#, highly adaptive and looking to provide self as an asset to a willing team/company.

For my journey, which is still starting (I am just now comfortable to apply for jobs, gotten an interview, but not employed yet), Harvard's CS50x was an amazing "Bridge gapper", but outside of that it's been courses on things such as Udemy, LinkedinLearning as of recently, and Youtube. I haven't gotten too far into it, but there is this github repo created to supplement the knowledge learned in a computer science degree titled Open Source Society University as well.
