You still can...

If you're that considered about 5 microseconds: Build your own Stratum 1 time server https://github.com/geerlingguy/time-pi

or just use ntppool https://www.ntppool.org/en/

I’ll second SponsorBlock. Not sure I could watch most YouTube videos without it.
You're not missing anything. This is how every company has taken advantage of rising inflation and now tariffs.

Safari has a set list of search engines, you cannot add to or remove from the list.

They currently "support" safari currently by redirecting the searches that go to your chosen search engine to kagi.com with an extension.

And Kernel level anti-cheat isn't stopping them.
Are you pretending that Starlinks upfront cost of $599 and $120/mo is affordable for the community that this article is about?
You don't need any enterprise hardware to use taildrop.

> - "Taildrop is only available on Synology with Tailscale v1.18.2".

> - "Currently that means you need to manually install Tailscale on your Synology NAS."

Only apply if you're installing it ON Synology hardware, otherwise it is matter of installing the tailscale client and opting your network in.

Why do anything if there is already someone doing it?

After seeing this happen time and time again, it's kind of a wild decision to make. So many negative reviews I see these days are about performance issues.

You would think a little more time would be put into reaching at least some reasonable performance level.

From what I understand...they don't. Everyone that I know who participated in online dating mostly just gave up on it.

Hasn't mitchellh stepped down from a leadership role? Why would he have "the ultimate input on this decision"?

Doesn't work for all services. Some services will, if unable to charge the card, send whatever amount to collections, and now they have to deal with that.

You could say the same thing about comments and yet you still decided to post one.
Someone in Las Vegas last month lost $10,000. For the last 7 years someone has religiously purchased lottery tickets, never winning. Was gambling good for them?

See, we can all play this shit game.

Hmm, what country does this happen in? I've never seen it use Low/High, only from Good to Hazardous.

Why? This is quite literally every thread involving Apple. It doesn't matter the topic of the thread, it will eventually devolve into the same shit.

OK. Great.

However you said _those_ weren't good, or least not unbiased enough. So what are the unbiased, or at least better about handling bias than those they posted.

The button with shuffle set to default is still there for me on playlist, and does indeed still shuffle the playlist. If it isn't for you its possibly a bug I would guess.
I think people are getting confused, and the title of the news reports aren't helping.

Spotify didn't take away the ability to shuffle on album pages, they just changed the "default". In their mobile app the large green bottom under the album cover and to the right used to play the album but would turn on shuffle, and it now just plays the album.

If you look at the now playing song, the shuffle button is still there.

Shift-Command-[3,4,5]?

Unless this does something that I'm not seeing, macOS has this tool builtin

You're taking one state and applying it to all. Most states don't cost $1000/year, or anywhere close to it.

For me its even worse than Walmart. No matter how shitty it is, at least I know what I'm getting at there.

With Amazon its pretty much a gamble whether or not I'm getting what I actually ordered or some cheap knock-off crap.

For the entirety of quarantine I've been ordering directly from companies and its saved a lot of headache, sure theres no 2-day shipping, but I'm no longer receiving a fake Anker charger four times in a row.

What happened to Clojure? If I remember, it was in the top 10 for most loved language, and now I don't even see it mentioned anywhere.
I have a (fairly stupid) question after reading this...

Is the human brain hard-coded for vision through eyes or is it possible to a (at least similar) form of vision without eyes, or like a much less exaggerated form of sonar like Daredevil, is the human brain REALLY that adaptable?

In an attempt to restore vision to those that lost it, is their a way to mentally rehab someone to "see" in a different way?

And yet, I'm not sure I would call the majority of discussion on this website "high quality".
I don't understand these articles that are coming out recently, and I don't want to seem like I'm attacking the people who use these tools...

But, its starting to feel like the people who want to use tools that allow them to build apps and programs that are cross-platform (NodeJS, Electronc, etc) are trying to use their weight as "the most popular programming language" to get platforms to conform to whatever they want.

Why should Chromium be allowed to use private APIs that native developers already knew "should NOT be allowed" especially those coming from iOS where its known using those would simply have your app rejected.

I don't have as much of an issue with Electron apps as most people do, but at some point you have to realize the short comings of cross-platform dev tools and work around them instead of trying to force everyone to just accept them.

Hmm, I actually feel like you're right here. I could see them letting it go through Chapter 11.

Out of curiosity, do you think they wouldn't let it even get that far to make sure they stay competitive vs Airbus?

Re:Boeing Sales and Profits Plummet as 737 Max Crisis Continues on Wednesday October 23, 2019 @04:00PM (#21338320)
Possible? Technically.

Will it? Probably never, it's too much of a tool used by the US Government to ever go bankrupt.

> Folding it back up neatly is impossible. Leaks appear out of nowhere and are tough to patch reliably.

Easily my biggest issues with any inflatable item I've ever purchased.

You'll never get it back into the box it came in, and you're folding is almost always going to be awful. Like trying to fold a fitted sheet before watching that one youtube video/someone who knows how to do it. If a leak appears I just consider it a lost cause, I don't think I've ever fixed a leak in an inflatable item that I was sure would allow me to use it confidently.
