Re:The “New Chronology” of Anatoly Fomenko on Sunday May 01, 2022 @06:46AM (#31223879)
This is intetesting: I posted here a link to what S.P. Novikov writes about Fomenko's "history", which I think to be quite informative. It got quickly eliminated.

My question to whoever edits yc comments sections: what were your considerations for eliminating this post?

This is by S.P. Novikov, https://research.com/u/s-p-novikov , who knows Fomenko well.

It is of interest in itself, apart from what it says about Fomenko.

At least in the past, I remember to see the same youtube recommendations even after deleting all cookies etc from the browser. So google was fingerprinting you in one way or the other. I doubt this changed. So what is the point of not using cookies? They are tracking you anyway.

I don't know who are exactly "my buddies" you are referring to, and this is not Genocide.
Re:War of memes: Why Z-war won't end with peace on Saturday April 23, 2022 @09:51AM (#31134262)
I am not "an account", I am very much a real person, living in Europe.

Disinformation, american "бдительный гражданин" (do look up the meaning, it might widen your horizons), is to speak of "genocide" perpetrated by russians in Ukraine.

Re:Ask HN: How do you find credible information online? on Saturday April 23, 2022 @09:36AM (#31134141)
For now at least, try Telegram. It appears to me not to be as censored/manipulated as the american social platforms, though the limited number of search results might suggest otherwise. At least I find there a lot of information which is not visible in the west. It also curiously has the feeling of the internet when it just started: you find concrete people who speak up their mind, in a usually more free way than on today's internet.
Re:War of memes: Why Z-war won't end with peace on Wednesday April 20, 2022 @11:36AM (#31098483)
How can someone take you seriously after you speak of "genocide" in Ukraine? You are being dishonest as your country is.
I am also sure it is all about achieving peace in Ukraine. no doubt about that..
Russia should say that they will hold US responsible for any attack on its strategic facilities. "google is a private company.." - sure thing..

You see, the question is what you call "russian disonformation". From point of view of most of ypu, what I write here is " russoan disinformation", while actually I simply don't accept your state manufactured view of the events.

Re:The true purpose of propaganda on Saturday April 09, 2022 @02:53PM (#30970867)
really? the proletariat? and your search engines decisipn to lower the ranking of dissenting views on Ukraine? and facebook decision to allow hate speech abput russians ("oh no.. we are not der sturmer.. you see, it is only about the military.. oh, in some states.." when it is all over your american controlled internet, and concerns all russians). it affects each one of you, exceptional nation.
Re:The true purpose of propaganda on Saturday April 09, 2022 @01:39PM (#30970113)
with you it is always about others.. russiagate, Assange, Douma false flag, americans provoking the war in ukraine by encouraging ukraine not to implement Minsk agreements.. but it is always others who spread propaganda.
I don't know where to start with people like you. The west very obviously encouraged ukranian nationalism, which does threaten russian people, and very obviously encouraged Kiev not ro implement the Minsk accords, which provoked the war (together with other factors). Your country indeed did everything it could to prevent Russia from developing: it is called "containing Russia" by the american newspeak. I don't have the time to deal with the rest of your "views" - it is just an arrogant and mean caricature.
there was a call from UN for an independent investigation into Bucha claims, hindered by UK. Somehow for you there is no problem here.
Russia says that the state of the bodies does not even correspond to the period of four days which passed between russian units departure and ukranian claims. Let alone several weeks. As UN said, there needs to be an independent investigation, and not another blood libel in the style of Syrian Douma. And it must not be conducted by western states, since they take part in this war against Russia.
UN calls for an independent investigation, in case you didn't hear it in US. US, UK and EU cannot be trusted with this, given their decisive part in this war on the ukranian side.
Re:Bucha Massacre on Monday April 04, 2022 @01:53AM (#30903665)
a call for an independent investigation of what happened in Bucha by UN: https://news.un.org/en/story/2022/04/1115442
no, it is a reaction to sanctions imposed on Russia by Japan (you can look for the phrase "Japan imposed severe economical sanctions on Russia") https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2022/03/25/national/japan-...
sure, it is always "anonymous hackers".. no government bears responsibility, of course.
Re:Putin Wants Hostile States to Pay Rubles for Russian Gas on Wednesday March 23, 2022 @06:11PM (#30784170)
It is not "hostile" (враждебные), it is " unfriendly" (недружественные). so the translation is intentionally misleading. There is a reason for this choice of words.
Re:NPM package deletes all files when detects Russian IP on Thursday March 17, 2022 @09:54AM (#30711174)
"feeds the narrative" - this is not a "narrative", this is reality
Re:Node-ipc developers add malware which wipes Russian IP's on Thursday March 17, 2022 @09:16AM (#30710803)
and the infants your country killed? I suppose it is ok since it was to bring democracy.
perhaps a false flag to justify future deepfakes with Russian publical figures (you have the technology, not Russia).
..after the west had "frozen" (translation: stolen) their forreign currency reserves, thereby preventing from Russia to operate the planes in another manner.
Re:Why Russians Support Putin’s War Against Ukrainians on Thursday March 17, 2022 @06:28AM (#30709543)
I can list the desecration of monuments for Soviet soldiers all over Eastern Europe, the defamatory remarks made by the leaders of Baltic states, ignoring human rights violations of russians by the west, comments section of western press (especially some countries), where it is allowed to describe russians in most denigratory terms, cancelling of courses and cultural programs (after the war broke), the *explicit* permission of facebook/instagram to allow hate speech aimed at russians (later they kind of limited it, but the whole point is the ambiguity and vagueness of these permissions). And it is not just that.

Unrelated, but since you are german: the fact that Germany, of all countries, supplies weapons to kill russians, with your kanzler Scholz being a grandson of SS official, is a heavy one.

us officials fear that the Russian people won't be starved to death.. and then they dare to speak about war criminals.
Re:Why Russians Support Putin’s War Against Ukrainians on Wednesday March 16, 2022 @06:49PM (#30705138)
And I still did not mention Donbass, the expansion of NATO, and other factors.
Re:Why Russians Support Putin’s War Against Ukrainians on Wednesday March 16, 2022 @06:46PM (#30705105)
One reason is the ukranian nazis, which are for you are "freedom fighters", but who just call (and not only call) for killing of russian people (it goes on for a very long time).Another reason is the persecution by ukranian nationalists of the Russian language, the Russian pravoslavic church, and just everything Russian, which goes on subtly enough to " not to be noticed" by the west. While russians are sure it is being tacitly encoraged by the west, just like the destruction of Serbian heritage of Kosovo by albanians. Yet another factor is that russians are sure that ukranians are just the avanguard of NATO forces which eventually aim to subjugate Russia. Finally, the defamation against everything Russian in the west reached such proportions (and it began long before the invasion), that it really reminds russians of the persecution of the jews in nazi Germany. Does that seem enough?
Re:What Ukraine war news looks like from Russia on Wednesday March 16, 2022 @01:31PM (#30701644)
sorry, what is wrong with NATO as "masters"? it is the truth: you orchestrated the coup in 2014, you are responsible for the war in Donbass since then (ukraine did not implement Minsk agrrements encouraged by you), and without your arms, sanctions and intelligence, and worldwide antirussian propaganda ukraine would not last. Ukraine is not an independent state, though certainly this is what you would like its people to think (the truth is, of course, that you want to get Russia to bleed, the rest is hypocrisy).
