Half-truths can and slightly inaccurate statements can be construed as either hard-TRUE or hard-FALSE.
On the opposite side of the political spectrum, "nuance" in political discussion is an accepted reality.
Gatekeeping is acknowledged as a problem - we know those who position themselves as arbiters of truth are not beyond scrutiny.
It would be contradictory to know these are true but also believe conservatives are deluded in believing that fact-checking is fraught with bias.
>Indeed, conservatives have long claimed that fact-checking was riddled with anti-conservative bias and even conflicts of interest (as when PolitiFact, one of Facebook’s six United States-based fact-checkers, shot down a critique of a Clinton Foundation initiative without disclosing that one of that program’s principal funders was a major donor to PolitiFact’s parent organization, the Poynter Institute).

It was a corporate laptop, so maybe the problem exacerbated itself to that level due to frequent patches the employer was pushing.

I love the concept, and would use it daily if there were features for adding/removing/viewing favorites. This is something that the official API doesn't support, so it's not something I'm faulting this application for. Impressive for sure.
Also +1 on wlqlwlql's dark-mode idea, although a color theme in general might be a better approach (but perhaps overly complicated?).
I had no idea Mosh did not support tmux control mode. I was hoping to eventually use Mosh more, but not any more.
Glad to see Eternal Terminal works with FreeBSD too.
Basically, the smaller the keyboard, the easier the layout is to remember. When it fits completely under your hands, with no extra columns or rows necessitating hand movement away from the home row, you can then commit the layout to your body's muscle memory faster. It then becomes more efficient and comfortable to use.
EDIT: On my current layout, I do something pretty unconventional, which is saying a lot considering I'm using Dvorak. So I've mapped the B key on my Mods layer to Backspace, D to Delete, T to Tab, and E for Enter (just to name a handful). Now, I prefer this to having mods requiring a long pinky reach to either side. It's also liberating using a layer for an extra level of intention before hitting stuff like Delete, Backspace, and Enter. If you're reading this, there's a good chance you've accidentally hit Enter one on a message or button when you didn't mean to. Especially if you've dabbled with HHKB layout. With this type of arrangement, worrying about that is a thing of the past.
>Union mounts have also been available in BSD since at least 1995.
Just would hate to have vi dropped entirely, like it is in NixOS / GuixSD.
Also, I can't recommend vimtutor enough to anyone new to it who doesn't have nano at their disposal.
Would prefer if something like nano but non-GPL was available for the BSDs.
