Nothing further from the truth.

Ignore my account if you wish. The handling of memories as the corruption through conflation and obfuscation of the original is widely accountable.

The part of the holographic memory is unexplored for obvious reasons (beyond modern scientific reach.) Many individuals extraordinary behaviors may be explained by the lack of neurological access by others, not information storage availability.

Re:WTF Ist Intelligence? on Tuesday September 01, 2026 @05:58PM (#49528811)
Intelligence is the mitigation of uncertainty. If it does not mitigate uncertainty it is not intelligent.

The problem we are having is the over attribution of intelligence, and failure to proclaim that algorithmic intelligence (discrete systems) are not the measure of the scope and nature of intelligence (domain of existential reality).

Simply put, intelligence works to a resolve, of whatever. To navigate the fickle nature of chaotic reality to a sensible or immediate conclusion.

Intelligence has domains, dimensions, scales and metrics.

Existential reality is not a discrete system of states. Modern information theory HAS THIS WRONG. Existential reality is potential distributing into state in the moment of now through the constrictive and destructive interference of fundamental forces. Truth is some perturbation of existential reality, and truths in the human mind are encoded representations based on whatever those may be.

See it.

Existential reality is potential distributing, not number of states. Algorithmic intelligence is defined and designed for a lockbox of state renderings. Effectively computational intelligence emulates this “true nature” of reality, by probabilistic weights. Requires recurrent and accurate sampling for intended effect!

We also get wrong where the question of intelligence lies? Do this instead, use the right tools for the right job and the right resolution will be probable. See what I just did? I messed with your intelligence, there is intelligence that messes with intelligence. Intelligence is multi-dimensional. Intelligence is the mitigation (determination for resolve) of uncertainty.

The battle is against uncertainty, the universe’s most primal power, as potential resolving against our needs. It is our needs which define how we would characterize external intelligence. And effectiveness of deterministic resolve in a specific domain of interest would be its measure.

Re:What Happened to Yoga? on Tuesday September 01, 2026 @10:51AM (#49522749)
The “elders” of the wellness spiritual hippy dippy communities were some among the most advanced of all humankind. The “spirit families” those “families of light” the guardian grandmothers who watch over their communities even while they sleep. These are among those, “the old ways” which of generations before these are now forgotten.

Through decades behind their social exclusivity and strange ideas an unrevealed secret that these too could “network” and voyeur among distant minds.

You deny the timeless talk of “guides” and “entities” as whole sale delusional mysticisms. Or shared hallucinogenic lore. The timeless occult secret is that our consciousness may be entangled and a patient secretive populations among us have learned nothing less than the hyperdimensional exploration and manipulation of consciousness and mind. So mortally complex and out of reach, generations uplift those of their future and transform them through decades of “games.” Usually tight family lines yet increasingly worldly.

These have been and continued to be purged.

Their pretty golden haired girls are flesh trade among white trash and cartels alike.

Entire communities raped out of the gene pool with hep and aids. A biological rape war.

Throughout America and by proxy the world (Australia has had a crazily similar cultural collapse.)

Rape war. It is your American Thought Control and thought controlled Americans and their secret occult cultures of Power.

lol, I was actually talking about both.

Get Russell Brand and Miki Willis (Elevate) to admit that they can hear the voices in their heads and have been influenced in the ways I have described and you will be ready for a revelation.
I hope to release a book on how this all has evolved.

One side is the technology of artful misleading, which is usually much stupider than it sounds.

And another side is a forbidden taboo to speak of. An occult secret that lives like a cancer within us.

Through a sustained art of Power human minds may entangle and manipulate each other at any distance. Counter intuitively, this “esp” is merely consciousness entangled. And some have great skill and others delusional cargo cult “gifts.” Those “gifted” rather than rigorously formed are played in games by their handlers who they themselves cannot perceive perched in their own minds (big spacious brains and all.)

This is how the CIA Stargate programs and those since have largely worked. Overt participants are gamed by handlers who can see in everyone’s minds. It is for those who can “mind trip” to a degree, that functional awareness gradually forms. The basic neurological feedback of being messed with by such “Power” is what causes its development.

It is not that some are “psychic”, it is that all minds may be entangled and some have decades of development “screwing around” in the backs of minds. Their own and others.

The modern occult mindfuck is that consciousness has been hacked.

Try coconut oil! I get five hours of coverage though it doesn’t work if you sweat through your clothes.

There is certainly some kind of magnetism.

Have you ever noticed they like to go for the feet? Or more sensitive skin areas, I find they will go for the edges of scars.

Re:The Debt That Apple Owes to the CIA on Thursday August 20, 2026 @12:24PM (#49376801)
Absolutely certainly true.

You’re naive if think there is an intelligence organization in the world who can log into the internet who doesn’t scrape analyze and opinionate over the intellectual bastion which is HN.

Re:Which monotheistic religions preceded Yahweh's religion? on Saturday August 15, 2026 @02:33PM (#49313050)
Monotheistic? “You shall have no other gods before Me” suggests there are other gods, and the speaker specifies as the highest.

“Which other religion spoke of one god as greatest over all?”

Mahadeva.

Don’t be absurd. American isn’t a day show of benevolent peoples and the evil administrative machine. Rape, murder, extortion, drugs, pedophilia, fraudulence, and more thrive throughout America and Americans.

Arizona has a long dark history of women disappearing. Still happens to this day. I’m pretty sure Arizona is not alone in this. There are cultures who thrive in the shadow of your refusal to believe.

Hundreds of women go missing every year in Arizona. You only heard about Nancy Guthrie because she has a famous daughter. You are not the America you think you are.
With different perspectives.
Or consciousness is related to existential reality itself rather than an effect. The brain merely animates or capacitates the existential nature of consciousness.

The mainstream view is that index cards or switchboard connections can get so many and complicated consciousness “emerges.”

Re:Ask HN: Is there a marketable "skill" to using AI? on Monday August 10, 2026 @09:18PM (#49252146)
Getting something actually accomplished must be the skill for application.
Loot, not dismantle. They did not invent the game, only new modernesque interpretations.

Re:Ask HN: My father died and I need to find my path on Monday July 13, 2026 @09:18AM (#48892235)
Every sector will have its advantages and disadvantages. You must find the one that is right for you.

You will not overcome this with everything buzzing in your mind. Take every opportunity to unplug, self isolate, and ground yourself in silence. Breath. Let the anxiety evaporate from you, at least for those moments. Nothingness is your friend, your closest intimate companion. It is a challenging skill which must be practiced.

I don’t know your environment, I like to take long walks. Sometimes loosing myself in exercise. Sure I sometimes “meditate” only that is the opposite of how it sounds.

Competence and capability are like good hygiene. You have a little nagging voice inside you that says keep the lines neat, tie up the ends, clean up afterwards, and then the loud pressing urge to just get the job done, do only what is required, and react to a million things confronting you.

In every situation endure without complaint, giving more than was asked, seeing through the finer details even when not explicitly demanded of you will transform you into a respected person of capacity.

It is always harder in the beginning, your investments will pay off. When I was just getting started I used to say motivational things to myself like “form, focus, patience” or “integrity, principle, devotion”. Some mantra that suits you may drown out the self doubt and leave your attention for your personal growth!

Re:Ask HN: Has AI changed the quality of HN posts? on Sunday July 12, 2026 @03:28PM (#48883841)
Have you enabled “show dead?”
Re:Ask HN: My father died and I need to find my path on Saturday July 11, 2026 @11:11AM (#48872737)
Your difficulty may be rooted in psychology.

Many do not like discussing “psychological temperaments” because they are not “scientific enough”, though you yourself are of a culture who can recognize that even science does not adequately explain everything.

By standards of psychological temperament, it would seem that your father was “introspective” and you are “extrospective”. In brief, those who are “introspective” live life referring to a map within themselves, and those who are extrospective look to external signs for their bearings. As we are social creatures, it is not unusual for ourselves (and our families) to have mixtures of psychological temperaments as they complement and cover for one and other.

You should not be too worried about getting the right technology or specific focus. You should worry about being competent and diligent. Keep yourself organized, follow through, don’t give up even if you aren’t sure. Especially if you aren’t sure. Check the market, look for the statistical average and also the leading edge. Focusing on the average is job security, focusing on the edge is a bit more exciting and specialized, if you are an overachiever. If you’re not an overachiever don’t try to be! You will likely only be discouraged and fail.

I suspect electrical engineering will be much more in wide demand in the future than computer engineering. You could focus on something combining both, like telecommunications or satellite or data centers infrastructure as these are combined disciplines which are growing in demand.

Being thorough, well organized, and driven to completion will be the successful trait no matter what you do. FOMO is a trap for young minds. Competence and capable will be the most desired skill whichever technology used.

Good luck!

Re:'Are Most People Liars and Fakes?' on Friday July 10, 2026 @12:56PM (#48862448)
Yes, yes they are, though it is even more complicated than that.

It occurs in many circumstances that people actually only hear what they want to hear. Saying the wrong thing is a terrible burden. Either immediately categorizing people into an immutable bin, or leading a chase into a thicket of distraction. Or worse yet, a thread that once pulled has to be tugged at and nagged at until whatever or whoever is completely unraveled.

Honesty is a fairly new invention, and one which comes at the luxury of those well accommodated by life. Those who don’t feel imminently threatened, or more likely, those who think God is watching.

The “otherwise” side throughout the history of humanity has worked out that sweet lies are more compelling (rewarding) than bitter truths. You know if you don’t say “fine” when someone asks “how are you doing?” You will be harassed for your personal dealings. You also know if you don’t pattern match for what someone is looking for, yours will be the one who does without.

Truth requires integrity and principles, as well as a dose of naïveté. Usually at the expense of one’s self.

Exports from the US is not a win. It’s like looting our piggybank to subsidize the deficit.
Re:Are all evils caused by insufficient knowledge? on Wednesday July 08, 2026 @10:46AM (#48832697)
No. Some people enjoy dominating others. Some were broken and think those who aren’t broken are living a life of lies. Still others will sell anyone out to get a better piece for themselves.

Often these various categories are magnitudes more intelligent and self aware than anyone you think of as smart. They were just integrated into life through different configurations.

It takes a surprising amount of knowledge and intelligence to live the successful life of evils.

Re:"Can We Make the Villain a White Guy?" on Wednesday July 08, 2026 @09:52AM (#48831996)
I had to stop watching one of the Transformers movies when in the opening conflict they had to go beat up on some Muslims.

And those French gangster movies where the Turkish guy is the cool villain eroding lawful civic French values.

I find it refreshing when a plot is balanced with a white guy antagonist undermining the lawful order.

Whatever you think feel or believe, evil lurks within every kind of person. Our entertainment would reflect this as all forms of art imitate life.

With questions like that? No.

Just look around you for interesting things happening, go hang out, and over time find out where you fit in!

Stop being so needy, that’s not really appealing. Have you even asked your LLM yet? What is a mob of humans going to do for you that you haven’t tried doing for yourself?

Besides, you don’t really want someone “like you”, you want someone(s) more interesting than you with the patience and tolerance to include you.

Just do things on your own (get started on your own interests), while keeping an eye out for the obvious things (ask your LLM), and over time get to know what’s happening and what others are up to.

Helping others who cannot help themselves is tedious, not endearing.

You could simply run an alternative browser that is not logged in, and switch to the logged in browser for interaction worthy activities.
Re:We woz wrong about oil on Monday July 06, 2026 @01:38PM (#48807954)
I’m pretty sure that’s because the US ramped up production to create its own oil glut to soften gas prices during the pinch.
I do adore a great many socialists. You will find many are actually altruistic intellectuals.

However I like to say, if you are a true socialist and not a hypocrite, then spend some time as a civil servant or in some capacity which is responsible for the well being of other people you are not related to.

And I can think of two for instance in which socialist values work: cooperatives and military service!

Some of what you say is noise prattling around the echo chamber of minds and not reflecting true dispositions in reality.

Anyone can “call” or “say” anything in this age of amplification. Sides will always make excessive generalizations of the other.

Everyone sees the “other” side as a collective singular body of “them” and their own side as a collection of distinguishable individuals like “us.”

Such radicalism never materializes from a vacuum. All extremes come as an iterative increment until a critical mass compels the middle over a ledge.

Nothing happens without mobilizing and catalyzing the middle. All “sides” know this.
