One half the country is pseudo-Christian and the other half is promoting trans/transgenderism which is defined by Christians as Satanic. Doesn't take high IQ to see these things are not compatible and not directly the fault of FB.

There's also an insurance scam where the driver slams on the brakes for no reason on the highway hoping you rear-end them literally was 50mph to 0. I barely dodged that one, since I allow 3-lanes of stopping distance, but I still needed to swerve toward the median, and the guy behind me hit me, and behind him hit him and behind him hit him.

Marketing/ETH pumping like the bitcoin pizza story. NFTs will be nearly useless unless they become integrated with real systems; legal system, ticking systems, royalty payment systems, DRM systems (this token allows you to download to such-and-such MP3) Buying NFTs for huge sums might move the needle on such projects.

Not really. The FBI infiltrates these groups easily and quickly like they did with the militias in the 90s.

Left has the reins of power, so they don't need to pretend they care about tolerance, freedom, or the rule of law anymore.

For those that don't know, staking is a dedicated computer + 32 ETH in escrow, then you get your ETH back + 1/2 ETH payment at the end of the month but fewer if you were offline including possibly losing some of your escrowed ETH.
Re:What is an NFT from an artist’s perspective?
on Saturday February 27, 2021 @04:28PM (#26288337)
NFT is a glorified receipt. Some people collect receipts: like ticket-stubs for world series games or concerts, but first you have to convince the MLB or Ticketmaster to sell tickets on Ethereum, which is a big ask.

Bone conducting headphones are nice, especially if you realize you are too tired to read after work, but not too tired to listen. You can still interact with people around you because there's a quick play/pause button.

Tolerance is the default strategy of out-groups. When an out-group becomes power dominant, its narrative changes. Tolerance is no longer a high value. Now the high values are conformity, unity, obedience, etc. etc.

The idea in general is that you will own some digital asset and then use a smart-contract to license it out in a trustless manner. Reminds me of CryptoKitties where ETH whales were buying cats for huge sums.
