really?

Népszabadság, the biggest printed newspaper was bought and closed by government/its allies.

origo.hu and index.hu, the biggest Hungarian online portals was also bought, and converted to progovernment outlets.

2.x dead? Not really: lots of 10 year old projects are in maintenance or even actively developed.

Migrating several hundred thousand lines of code bases with few people and many dependencies (some of them not maintained, not ported to 3) are not trivial.

These will stay for years still. Actually it is very sad, that significant new tools are basically useless on 2.x (e.g. vscode: lots of waiting on completion, or jumping to definition - if it works at all).

Re:Reflections on IDEA vs VS Code on Saturday March 06, 2021 @05:13PM (#26371012)
I had the exact same feeling arriving into projects using PyCharm: somehow I could feel PyCharm's influence over the code and ignorance of the non-IDEA tools (e.g. makefile/isort/black, which are usually superior/easier to use than the mouse oriented interface of PyCharm). I even use a phrase for the way they are developed: PyCharm oriented development.

VSCode is better at first, unless you need to work with Python 2.7, where it fails completely: there is no good lsp for it (intellisense fails), and working this problem around by downgrading to ctags does not work either.

The best I can say about them is that both has decent multi cursor implementation.

Take a look at Durgod Taurus K320 TKL ISO UK version - classic look, Cherry MX brown switches.

For the real classic look, I just had to replace the 2 oddly colored keycaps (provided in the box).
