Lettermint offers "broadcast" emails which is essentially marketing
Will they consult any of the under-16s they're targeting? Or just those who "know what's best"
Re:The Overcomplexity of the Shadcn Radio Button on Tuesday January 20, 2026 @06:12AM (#46690569)
I much prefer React Aria's components. Yes fuck Adobe but take their RadioGroup for example: https://react-aria.adobe.com/RadioGroup Much better than shadcn's in terms of deps and LOC, and it uses an input. All of their components are built for accessibility first.
Re:NPM package 'debug' v4.4.2 contains malware on Monday September 08, 2025 @11:39AM (#45169673)

Re:Oracle goes vegan: Dumps Terraform for OpenTofu on Wednesday May 15, 2024 @02:19PM (#40370504)
I just wish Terraform would let me be a grown up and see sensitive values in an output without going through so many hoops.
Re:Write OpenAPI with TypeSpec on Wednesday March 27, 2024 @01:52PM (#39842397)

Re:Zotero for Android available for beta tests on Monday December 25, 2023 @07:42AM (#38762154)
Zotero got me through university. If their app supports Chromebook this could make them even more useful for new students on a budget.
Re:Placemark is going open source and shutting down on Tuesday November 14, 2023 @10:02PM (#38272809)
Actual Budget (https://actualbudget.org) - I'm not connected to them but I use their software on a daily basis and it's still well maintained.

Assuming it's maintainable and not the illegible scrawlings of someone crazy, sometimes software is just some random folk in Nebraska's pet project and it's been dropped for something shinier/they gained employment.

Re:Websites That Changed the World (2006) on Saturday November 11, 2023 @01:19PM (#38232935)
After the whole Easy Life situation[1] I'm completely over them. What scummy business practices.

you should check out Actual budget as well - works perfectly for me in the same situation.

Please let me know if I made any mistakes, I am a long time lurker, first time submitter on HN :) Also accepting all criticism of my blog writing, as I am quite a novice at that too.
