At least people should know that before using it...not everyone has many secrets to hide. What's the point hiding who you make friends with, and public conversations? Trying too hard to stay off the grid is rather creepy...

Re:Ask HN: I quit my job .. now what?

Do some research, decide what you want, then proceed. Along the way, pick up some talented guys to help you achieve your goal. One thing though, if you were not satisfied with your previous work, why didn't you just protest and get a better deal before quitting it for good, since you gonna quit anyway? It just seems weird to me.

Re:My Google Rejection Letter

I have been rejected by Cerner's software engineer post in my Junior year, because that was the first time I heard of "behavior questions". For technical, they asked me how to implement classes for a chess game, and several simple sorting algorithms. I bombed it, and now I am on their blacklist of people not to give an interview. LOL. Not like I want to work for them anymore, just it's funny to know how long that blacklist is active, so I apply their job every semester.
