There is a chrome plugin for this that is awesome. I started using it and one of the things i saw is that the amount PR's that I block went down significantly. Because i will classify block or non blocking per issue so don't end deciding at the end based on the amount.

So for example something that has 10 nitpicks I will let it pass because all it tells me is i'm a dick :)

Re:Have Attention Spans Been Declining? – Yes, 65% on Tuesday July 25, 2023 @09:22AM (#36861824)
I use it to figure out AI image techniques. Basically the theory is in papers, the nearly accepted stuff is in blogs, but the people on cutting edge are in youtube and tiktok trying 100 things before they can post 1
I use a prompt that says I'm esl to make it sound more like natural english and i found i get less questions and better results on written persuasion at work since i started using it

I used to love knockout.js. this brought memories
Use leonardo.ai with the control net feature adding the walking poses from pose.net you can use the community models to set on a style
we are building something like that but the images are sadly static per story page and it has no psychological analysis. I've been interested in adding pupil dilation as a measure of cognitive load as a signal on one of the things you read but i think customers would find it too creepy.
I sold all at 2014 that I had mined because exactly this. It went fast from maybe useful to just scam.
Re:Ask HN: How are you a good dad to your kids? on Tuesday May 16, 2023 @04:03PM (#35967020)
I do the same thing with my kid and a lot of the time it helps with stopping and tantrum and getting my explanation in.

I also got him to do a few times a full 5 minutes of yoga in a row jaja.

GPT = new UI more conversational and easier transformation to commands

I think a lot of people miss that due to being shown in search instances and companion apps.

That explains googles Ux understanding AI. It can tell in words what the next step on a form is.

Also a lot of the grandparents are way older since they did college instead of kids at 20 thing. It makes a difference my parents are both close enough but other than 1 hour maybe a month is taxing for them to watch my demonspawn.
You could do vrbo even before airbnb existed. Airbnb innovation was the room in someone else house and almost no one does that at this point.
Re:The case against AI in classrooms on Tuesday February 21, 2023 @10:59AM (#34882593)
I thought the idea of using for secondary sources is pretty compelling.

Overall I find it hard to predict at what point should they be allowed in education.

For example at high school level they should be if the future is your work enhanced with AI and AR on all your tasks.

But maybe we should make sure you have shown you understand a basic level of rethoric before you do that.

Re:Ask HN: What is the best advice you got on any aspect of life? on Wednesday February 15, 2023 @10:23AM (#34804979)
I'm friends with most of my friends wife and most of my co-workers and honestly not super interested in banging any of them.

I also have two female friends since childhood and we never done anything and we keep in contact even though we live in different states. Yey facebook!

Theater and music is after school.

I used to be in two team sports on the same season, theater, chess and computer club in high school and mid school.

Day looked like this wake up at 5:30. Be gross and just brush my teeth and walk to school. Do sport 1 from 6:00 to 7:30 shower and eat food from bag. While entering class at 7:50.

School day ended 2:15 alternating clubs different days (theatre, chess , computer)

3:30 sport 2 till 5:00pm

Walk back home.

I didn't play sports the other season so mostly just play Magic with other folks when sports was supposed to be there.

We also had theatre or music has an elective class. But club did better parts.

I grew up in a part of the US and I think by second grade my older brother probably 10 was walking us all back to our grandparents house which was like 10 minutes from the school.

Never commuted on a car or took buses since there were none. Just my town had the houses near the schools. I know now is worse because a lot of the schools have been consolidated into megaschools so I'm assuming this generation drives a ton more.

Re:Ask HN: How do you balance support and sprint tickets? on Monday January 23, 2023 @10:30AM (#34489962)
Or do scrum with one week sprints. If the priorities are changing daily that needs to reorganize the entire team. Maybe its not the time to do feature work.
Leonardo.ai can probably make a model that handles one of those prompts well with 40 images.

To handle them all you would need a larger sample.

This is me. Sadly I switched roles into a people code by their pants and projects sometimes ship type of company and now I'm on existential pain every day.

If you use deal is pretty easy but it puts a premium on top.
Re:Ask HN: What's You Life's Work? on Wednesday December 14, 2022 @11:03AM (#33985423)
I'm trying to add a ping pong table to a park next to my house. Got like 2k of the 5k i need so far. After that probably will try to get a dog fence and a pickleball court.
Makes sense to me. When I graduate in 2008 a house by the lake in Seattle could be bought by around 600k cheapest one now is like 1.5 million in less than 15 years we have basically tripled the cost of the luxury and 2.5 that of the avg cost housing.
