Go see a psychiatrist, and get a caseworker.
Does anyone else hear the Carmagnole drums beating through the headlines?
Don’t worry about the haters. Focus on getting things like you want them.
0. Save your money for laundry and storage.
1. Food pantries will provide food. “I have a food emergency.”
2. Call the local homeless shelters, mental health clinics - anywhere that deals with indigent populations.
3. Recognize your bravery for putting ethics over money.
4. Work your way into a low-income housing situation. Many ethical thinkers live this way.
5. Don’t get paranoid or angry. You have dignity.
6. Join a church which is full of intelligent and relaxed people. I recommend Catholicism.
7. If you have to ask for something, ask for it with a smile. People want to help each other.
8. Family sticks together.
Sincerely,
A programmer who lived homelessly for years
Honest inquiry. Has anyone else here had their behavioral patterns hacked by a psy group?
There’s not a support network.
Maybe cancer is a waste product that is only solved by... well, I can’t put it into words. If I could, I would call it “attrachion”, and reference the anime Tower of God.
Lethal injections, and executions, are never necessary.. It is in the best interest of everyone for everyone to abandon the concept en total.
As an oblong reference regarding megalopsuchia, you may enjoy Peter Chung’s Aristotle as visited in the anime film series titled “Reign: The Conqueror”.
They probably knew about feedback loops, though, given the creation of waterclocks. Applying those principles to psychology is a short leap, yes ?
If a person seeks to understand why people would wear a grass skirt and drive a car, to which philosophy should that person be referred?
What if the development of an universal decision framework, which obviates sourcetrust, is the natural result of the calamity.
I ask myself this sometimes.
I think the main character is a Savant, who others view as an idiot. The title and its characterization are ironic. He is the smartest character in the book, but viewed as an idiot, due to a consistently ignorant society.
Not unlike, for example, Sufi poets who claim to be gods and then are humiliated and executed for heresy. His label of “idiot” is his execution. A crowd crying to crucify Christ.
Heartless and out of touch with the needs of the general public. Guess that happens when you forget what it means to struggle to pay both rent and health insurance.
When you see a poor person struggling, remember that your public arguments contributed to their plight. If that even resonates with you.
These people did not choose to be born poor.
Are we ever really content? Even if we were to increase our own happiness, we would still live in a world where, outside our walls, the suffering persists. Could we really, perfectly be happy, knowing?
If the answer is no, then to be happy, we must pass through hell with the rest of them.
Since Van Eck phreaking tools exist which can read keystrokes and RAM states on specific machines from blocks away, and since no one talks about these tools, I am leaving this comment here.
If you articulate this point loud enough, and gain enough support, you will suffer evil. To phrase it from a theological standpoint, "God doesn't have the discipline to overthrow Satan".
Applause for Vivaldi for the backbone to say something openly.
Needs quiet to focus => superior

Is your bank located in Kazakhstan?
This is a hot air balloon which is about to burst culturally.
Don't fight the transition to closed-offices too hard, or you'll be remembered for advocating to make engineers' lives difficult.
The issue is that people who prefer open offices can make use of open areas, while people who need closed spaces actually need them in order to work.
One is a preference, the other is an outright necessity.
You have not mentioned any upsides of open offices for the percentage of the workforce which require isolation. Please, give their needs equal weight and consideration.
It seems that they have not yet determined that having a secondary off-site with private offices and meeting spaces is worth the investment.
I think we can all agree that ad hominems must be put to bed.
What about the blackmail potential inherent in offering someone sex?
Edit: I can no longer reply due to the thread length, so here is reply to below post:
To say that someone offered you sex, is to inculcate the idea of a sexual relationship with a person which you would otherwise not be associated with in such a context.
I think a big problem is that impoliteness and a lack of good faith exists within these online discussions.
See, and now you're attacking the character of a person: "clearly you have other problems".
This type of psychological attack is precisely the issue at hand with counter-nazi progress online at this precise moment in time.
Espionage is a human science and has developed applied human sciences above and beyond what popular American culture has the maturity and insight to comprehend.
Much of this information, if released publicly, would be dismissed out-of-hand as incorrect to anyone who is an upright and decent person.
To the poster below me, the offer of sex can be used as control regardless of acceptance. If a wealthy and attractive person offers you sex, and you are unaware of an ulterior motive, the mere act of offering does factually impact your psychology and changes your cognitive biases. If the changing in these biases is directed, you are being controlled.
I recommend brushing up on your espionage knowledge. This isn't magic, it's intellectual honesty.
