Really cool. The animations within a frame work well.

Reminds me of the 2009 History Channel series Life After People

Software engineering is always light on case studies though, for instance test driven development, or static vs. dynamic typing, people have been debating these for quite a long time.

Why doesn't it work?

He might not have but some industry insiders, for instance YC are releasing videos like this:

Re:I Analyzed Chord Progressions in 680k Songs on Thursday April 17, 2025 @10:00PM (#43724207)
Could call them "stacked intervals" like "stacking thirds" to make a triad
Re:That Hit Song You Love Was a Total Fluke on Friday March 28, 2025 @03:47PM (#43509263)
It reminds me of how media folks always explain to us that people want celebrity gossip and reality shows rather than substantive programming. Do they really or are they just responding to what's popular/promoted?

I hope they go with "Ludicrous" like in Spaceballs.

Don't many medications dehydrate you though? And Americans are on a lot of medications.

The 15 year olds of today are going to say the same thing in 10 years though. I don't think it really was that great when we were 15, we only think it was.

And almost always that golden period was when you were 15 years old

People win the lottery all the time too

Long Island is a very dense with overhead power lines, but then again look at Tokyo.

Are you sure we're talking about the same Lex?

Yeah it makes his "blood boil"

I cringe whenever I hear the "it's SEO that ruined the search results" excuse for Google's incompetence/negligence.
Could you also call it mob rule?
Re:Why making friends as an adult is hard on Tuesday December 24, 2024 @06:06PM (#42505612)
I don't think it's idiotic at all. Volunteering is a great activity to meet people.

This is so true. Just think, why is it that as children we often become friends with the kid who lives next door or across the street? Is it that we magically have the same tastes? Or is it just that we see them all the time?

If you don't waste that time scrolling Instagram, Reddit, etc.
Re:Walgreens to close 1,200 stores across America on Wednesday October 23, 2024 @11:54PM (#41931746)
How much of this is due to theft? If you ask someone on the right I'm sure they'd say a lot, and someone on the left would say hardly at all.
Is that what you'd call "scare quotes"?

Under "Great Moments in Hacker History" they mention Masters of Destruction (MOD). Do they mean Masters of Deception?

My cat said the same thing.
Using an Uber once a week on the way back grocery shopping is still a lot cheaper than owning a car.
Yes, but a huge reason for that is that they're so rare that there are way more people that want to live there than the supply, so they fetch a premium.
NYC just charging not insanely low property tax, especially on these billionaire condos would be a good start.

Actually Hitler's father Alois Schicklgruber changed his name to Alois Hitler.

We paid for this. In the late 90s we purposely reduced the number of doctors graduating from medical school.

U.S. WILL PAY TO REDUCE DOCTOR GLUT

You need to go to stores in those areas and collect all the rewards points people have gifted to you by putting your number in at checkout!
