I'm not sure he needs any "music-related credibility" (whatever that is) to make valid points about Ping. I'm pretty sure all he needs to make valid criticisms of Ping is:

1. iTunes (check) 2. the desire to use a music-oriented social network (http://www.last.fm/user/swizec - check, I think)

The only thing I can think of that might disqualify him from having, uh, cred here is that he already has a last.fm - I bet Ping catches on best, if it remains as it is now, with people who haven't sought out a music/social network, but see Ping in their iTunes, hassle-free, and decide it's pretty neat.

Take your pants off?

For what it's worth, I've been squatting since preadolescence. As a counterpoint to the experience of the sitters in the study who rated their experiences squatting "more comfortable" than sitting, I've tried going back to sitting from time to time to no avail; I find it unnatural and difficult.

I always figured it was because I was used to doing it my way, not because it was easier. I didn't switch for comfort reasons, and certainly I never dreamed it might prevent hemorrhoids later in life!

What if I paid for 420 sq. feet and actually needed 420 sq. feet, not 400?

What's not worse about it?

If a landlord raises the rent on a 400 square foot space, they're simply asking more money for it the same space. If a tenant wants to pay that price for 400 square feet, that's his choice.

On the other hand, if the landlord claims it's 420 square feet, no matter how much he charges per square foot, the tenant is paying for something that simply doesn't exist.
