Sure can. But some countries are more different like China, Russia, North Korea. A lot of people would include USA in that list of course. :)
That's the one strategy suggested to people when the cancel mob comes for you. If you give them any attention at all they turn their efforts up to 11. If you just ignore them completely they find a new target. (That is of course if they don't go one level above you and have you cancelled that way.)
You can take the guy out of Russia.. :)
I kid but that's probably what people have a problem with.
You get what you pay for? Honestly this is so very disrespectful of the work thousands of people have and continue to put into Free Software including all Linux distros (Ubuntu too) as well as other operating systems and software. Really really disrespectful.
Ubuntu's remote OS upgrade feature exists and works pretty well in practice. I am not saying this is enough to stay but it does exist.
Controllers are regional. It's Joystick here :)
I thought I'd researched this. I will check it again. Thanks.
I wish youtube had an api with an upload date filter for all videos. One could then build a pre-ai youtube.
My one bank app makes me enable Play Store security. Another one makes me disable developer mode to use NFC payments.
One person's key probably should not be enough to move billions no matter who it is.
Dunno what one's personality or height has to do with this.
As far as I can tell, it doesn't. The web interface is like 90s website but it does have a million suboptions. None of these seem like it needed any hacking. I am not sure about the Debug ones. I'll have to check. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an available api listening with the same commands available. If not that would be the useful outcome from work like this. A CLI that implements these.
Now if you could use to allow firmware downgrades when the installed firmware doesn't, that would be useful too. I disabled updates on mine at a version that already allows it. I bought it a few weeks ago but luckily it didn't come with the latest "I don't like your ink chip" firmware.
They managed to piss off all classes of their customers with their latest Argon release. They removed old flash models and gemini pro without actually giving Argon to everybody. Then they released the model to only paying customers to the exclusion of free plans or promotional deals like that comes with their Pixel phones. They staggered the release of Argon and didn't give it to Pro and Ultra users at the same time. Pro users when they got it received an extra usage pool for it (didn't help - they can't do anything with their token quota) while Ultra users have a single pool shared with Gemini Flash. I am not even sure if Antigravity got it yet. Literally nobody is happy about the release and they don't seem to care at all.
If you like Paseo (I love it), keep an eye on Happier. I think they made the right choice by starting from a multi domain architecture rather than Paseo's independent domains shown on the same client approach.
I prefer it too and I like that it's 100% open source. Server, client, everything. Pangolin also looks interesting if you don't need a full vpn. And if you go that way, Authentik with its embedded proxy is also worth considering.
Essentially killing both languages.
It's no wonder then that Google used to be all in on Python in the 2000s as a language for juniors and then invented another language with similar users in mind. With AI becoming what it is they probably did not need to do the latter.
Python owes a lot to that initialish Google push where for a few years you couldn't get a job at google without knowing python or you could easily get a job if you knew python. Maybe both.
I tried the Claude $20 plan for two weeks and burned the rest of it due to how much token anxiety it gave me. And I'm not ready to keep throwing money at it for it to become usable. Gemini models are actually fine for me as an amateur+ I found especially since they have regional pricing and a very generous side items package.
I use the models but not the "harness" though. Not directly anyway. I am still handicapped by the CLI when running in Paseo. Both antigravity and agy are toys compared to what has been available for at least two years.
I am so sick or "normal" types whose only argument is that "it's like that". Of course you can't wake up in the morning because you go to sleep late. How come even when I skip a night I still can't sleep Einstein? And this normalness only lasts until their own thing that is not the same as the society.
It's not surprising to self diagnose with every new type of neuro issue of course (in the hopes that it will lead to some relief) but I do "like" this for myself. I refused the melatonin recently because it didn't do anything for me the last time but maybe I will try it again.
I'm sorry but if a work of art like Carl Angel isn't "cutting" it you really should be doing it by hand and not emulating it with a machine.
Frontpage on Linux. That was fun to support :).
Smaller labs and open models have shown that their lunch is pretty easy to eat. There's no "moat" as they like to say in business circles.
I personally think LLMs will be a utility business in the future. Cheap, unlimited and with ads. Lots and lots of ads.
Wonder how they plan to find 3 people who want to code by hand together in a few years.
The best feature of LLMs might be that you can do so much without needing anybody's help. (Or that you don't have to deal with anybody)
Are we allowed to say "fuck" on HN? Cause what the fuck is that video intro about? Having said that the software looks really really nice.
You set your home modem IP to something and use the embedded form on the router or a little curl call to keep it up to date. Nobody is doing commercial hosting on these services.
Mine was when I noticed some pages on the internet were somehow dynamic. Like they could respond to outside stimuli somehow. I have seen a bunch but dslforums was the one that actually mentioned what they were using. It was PHP of course and right around the same time VA Linux was offering free PHP hosting (with shell?). I didn't become much of a programmer but I did do web programming "professionally" for a time.
That's how gitea/forgejo feel. Most pages don't do ajax but it's still super fast.
This service and similar ones live on because a lot of routers support setting your dynamic IP to a dns name by using these services. The services are incredibly simple but finding a service that your server actually supports is a gamble.
