Since then, many people seem to think bees are on the edge of extinction.
In fact, there are more bees now than ever before [2]

If they really want to claim that the “language you speak” changes your perception of time, then they should have avoided the confounding variable of translation discrepancies in experiment instruction.
For example, design some simple UI which does not need to be explained.
Profound or contrapositive [1]?
P = reader
Q = not steal
not P = does not read
not Q = Theif
P - > Q
not Q - > not P
This is a classic joke making fun of the issues with French education based on the Bourbaki [1] school of mathematics, see [2] for more discussion. Different issues than the USA, but also bad in my opinion.

“arXiv will not consider removal for reasons such as journal similarity detection, nor failure to obtain consent from co-authors, as these do not invalidate the license applied by the submitter”
The submitter can mark the paper as “withdrawn” but it will remain available
Is an HP 50G really the last of its kind? Hard to suggest since it’s priced like a collectors item now…

See page 10 [1] which explains how the secret key provides extra entropy (which makes it much harder to brute force a user who choses a weak password). Also see Story 1 on page 11 [1].

Suppose that a plane has 250 seats and makes 50 trans-con flights a month.
Airline A decides to advertise having fast internet access in their flight, and raises ticket prices by $2 a seat to fund it.
(250)(50)(2) = 25000
Airline B stays with slow barely usable internet.
Which ticket do you book?

texfot – Filter clutter from the output of a TEX run
The package provides a small Perl script to filter the online output from a TEX run, attempting to show only those messages which probably deserve some change in the source. The TEX invocation itself need not change.
I would highly suggest using it!
This is an essential feature of arXiv to maintain academic integrity and encourage serious academic submissions.
If you realize that your paper contains an error, then you can mark the paper was "withdrawn". People have limited time so if you do this no one read the paper (everyone makes mistakes sometimes).
As long as you do not make a habit of uploading and withdrawing papers, then it will not matter.
> license plate on that car showed that it was registered to ... Steer EV ... Agents served a subpoena on Steer EV for the renter’s billing and contact details. Steer EV provided those—and also voluntarily supplied historical GPS data for the vehicle ... In this case, the GPS data likely came from a device Steer EV itself installed in the vehicle
> according to researchers, Tesla is potentially in a position to provide similar GPS tracks
> Or perhaps external factors come into play: A layer of frost in a freezer can act as an insulator, keeping heat from leaking out of a cold cup, whereas a hot cup will melt the frost and cool faster.
The purpose of my above comment is to add to the conversation by considering this development on the context of past community response to Dropbox product announcements
As a shopify user, you can already build such a system for yourself quite trivially. From the Shopify organization admin, click Stores. Click Create store. In the Store type section, select the purpose of your new store. In the Store details section, enter a name and an URL.

How do you want wirecutter to stay economically viable?
Get a mortgage on house that will take a while to pay off.
In order to “save” you pay extra towards the mortgage
In order to “withdraw” money (if needed) you take out a small loan against the house
Some bank should make a mobile app which does this, in combination with Zelle.
SuperHomeSaverApp
With free instant transfer between your bank accounts and home
So it is clear to technical readers that the title contains a joke, which will be explained in the article (the joke turns out to be poorly written software).

There is nothing wrong with semi-supervised learning.
> difficult to parse efficiently using multiple cores, due to the quoting (you can’t start parsing from part way through a file).
But I do not see why this is the case.
Step 1: loop over file (in parallel) to determine indices of quote characters
Step 2: loop over indices outside quote regions (in parallel) to determine indices of comma and return characters
Step 3: return two dimensional integer array with pointers to cells of table

And about 80 thousand mathematicians [2]
So about 375 individuals programming for every 1 person writing proofs
If we assume this configuration is optimal, then my answer to your question is that if you had a group of 10000 people who like programming and proofs and have 9983 program and 27 write proofs this would be the best way to “accomplish more in life”

I did not know exactly what the star seller program was. It requires that in the last three months of shop data [1]:
> 95%+ of first messages in a thread are responded to within 24 hours.
> 95%+ of orders ship on time with tracking
> 95%+ of orders receive 5 star reviews
> minimum of 10 orders and $300 in sales
In the petition [2] they explain the Star Seller Program as:
>Passive aggressive efforts to influence seller behavior are counter-productive and result in a worse customer experience. Rather than making us mad at buyers who leave glowing 4-Star reviews, or making us feel that we can no longer offer letter class shipping on items like cards and stickers, Etsy should leave us to individually do the best we can for each and every customer in each and every situation.

What does it mean to "believe" in Free Software?
I believe Free Software (as defined in your post) exists and will continue to exist for the foreseeable future.
> Is free software a lost cause?
This question seems to assume that Free Software is a cause, which is notably absent from the GNU definition you presented.
