You’ve got good grammar for a random series of biochemical interactions. I’m not a pessimist of either the Christian or secular variety. I’m an optimist who views dooming as a bludgeon miserable people use to make others miserable, too, while cloaking themselves in piety so they can keep getting away with it.
Anyway, yes, I have a soft spot for people who are obviously smart but stuck in a rut, and contemplating what I view as a form of suicide (not reproducing). We need smart people to reproduce. So I feel an obligation to rattle your cage a bit, but some people might take that the wrong way. Hence the new account.
Maybe your illness gets you off the hook, but Stephen Hawking had children.
One thing I find ironic is that you’ve adopted a Christian worldview in a strange way - through your suffering you are saving your children from damnation.

5 billion years of evolution, struggle, and perseverance by your earthly ancestors, and it stops with you. It’s an entitled view in a way, to throw away such a gift so carelessly. On one hand you’re complaining it’s all a predetermined script, but then with the ounce of agency you have you choose to cease existence! Nature is delightfully cunning in the way she discards the unfit.
