It's a clever thinking, but only for vpns in other countries, the solution would probably fit netflix and other streaming services.

I highly recommend using flashcards apps, especially this one that I have found. As mentioned in the article about quizzes, this app has just that.

New payment API, it was something they have mentioned.

A lesson for next time always read blog posts about new APIs you are planning on implementing, especially when it comes to payments.

It's called democracy man, even when a lot of people disagree with Trump, there are others who agree with him.
True to that, as an example the NBA league pass provides a good experience for a decent price.
Chinese justice just like the justice political prisoners used to received in the USSR.

Re:Analysis of whether IMDB ratings suffer recency bias on Saturday June 08, 2019 @07:42AM (#20131882)
Of course, there are plenty of examples of that. Like the assassination of the NK leader movie, which at first received 10 star rating. Now look at it.

Sane goes with all the new blockbuster movies, you should usually wait awhile for the real ratings to show.

Re:California is cracking down on the gig economy on Saturday June 01, 2019 @03:29PM (#20071046)
Yeah Uber is quite terrible, they are aiming for the autonomous taxis, that's where they might start being profitable.

But the delivery companies, and the scooter companies that pay people to charge the scooters.

Overall the gig economy is the future, we shouldn't harm it because of greed.

Re:California is cracking down on the gig economy on Saturday June 01, 2019 @01:32PM (#20070306)
Then what's the point if gig economy?

With these laws it won't be profitable for those companies to run their business.

What about them selling their data on the darkweb?

They claimed that there was no breach, but yet all of their database is being sold on the darkweb.

Is it so easy to gather their database and publish it?

Re:How not to get a $30k bill from Firebase on Monday May 27, 2019 @04:06AM (#20020296)
Glad to hear that Google has done something with it.

Also that's one of the reasons I try to use the realtime database, and not firestore. But they still charge for bandwidth there (most if it is consumed by downloading the SSL certificates from the clients).

They should also sue some government agencies then, they are bunch of hypocrites.

Re:Spaced Repetition on Sunday May 05, 2019 @01:11AM (#19831290)
I just saw that something that I am working on might be relevant to the topic. Same way that people post relevant links to the post.
Re:Spaced Repetition on Saturday May 04, 2019 @03:43PM (#19828797)
I have created a flashcards app for Android that tries to use sort of a spaced repetition system, just if anyone is interested in trying: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flashcards.wor...
