SEEKING FREELANCER | WASHINGTON, D.C. | REMOTE

C4ADS (https://c4ads.org), an open-source intelligence investigative non-profit, is seeking a backend software engineer and leader who can help us deliver a flight analytics platform called Icarus Flights (https://icarus.flights).

Our nascent software practice is in need of strong contributors who are comfortable taking responsibility for new projects. Your contributions can set the stage for important analytical work – the sort you read about in global publications.

The right consultant has experience building scalable, testable, data-heavy web application APIs on AWS with Python, Django, PostgreSQL + PostGIS, and Redis. Experience with Kubernetes and Kafka are a plus.
