It wasn't the elders, it was Vercel itself which has a vested interest
Re:Removing Next.js Got My Blog to 100 on Every Lighthouse Category
on Monday October 26, 2026 @06:03AM (#50241453)
Next.js is not a good fit for most applications. It honestly never has been. It has just been Vercel's relentless over-the-top marketing that has been trying to convince junior developers that it is.

I think there is enormous untapped potential in AI working with MIDI in a DAW. And I don't really get the handwringing about it. Does that make it less creative? What about using synth presets? Or sample packs?

Interesting to note here that he's wildly unprofitable. "Beast Industries lost almost $60 million in 2024. Its Feastables snack line generated roughly $250 million in sales and more than $20 million in profit, while the media business produced similar sales and lost almost $80 million."

Re:Dots: Always-on agents
on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @06:42AM (#49907003)
To boil it down I think it's basically one 'orchestrator' chat, so you don't manage multiple chats, and it proactively reaches out to you to update you on how your other chats are going. In the presentation they mentioned a "Chief of Staff".
It's not intended for coding.
