Two thoughts:

1. My Wordle buddies aren't nearly as consistent with me, so I'm sorry if I miss if anybody gets kidnapped.

2. Wordle is the least interesting part of the story. Now I'm wondering how many similar kidnapping stories are happening.

Yup, a client of mine's nagios keeps fritzing every minute past the hour with DNS issues. Thanks.
I worked for a startup in Minneapolis. They are quite different than at the hubs. There's not as much support as you'd get out on the West Coast.

Also the talent pool isn't as easy to tap into here. There are quality developers but its hard to find em.

Sounds great for the employer... not for the potential employee. Even in the role of an employer...

I don't want to know that much detail about someone. Day to day things about whether they get distracted or how they code isn't as important as week to week things... how well do they deliver on what they say they will. I could care less if someone was on mySpace most of the time, if they managed to get business taken care of, great.
