Well maybe they should receive praise for changing their mind. I get your point but they could have doubled down.

Use Rufus it'll disable hardware requirements, without hassle. You will need an iso. If you know someone with 11 have them download it. Otherwise download the generic.

I love KDE connect. After install I turn off things I don't want, but I have options. Works better than any similar app. Connects essentially and system. I pair it with tail scale or zero-tier depending on needs. Multiboot, all major os's mobile. PC, Mac all have ports. It's under rated

Schizophrenia is genetic. So you're born with it. This makes zero sense. Maybe you mean shizo-effective which usually has to do with traumas.

You'd be surprised at what you find during moving season. Chinese students for example can't import laptops back home, plus they've had a taste of freedom and can't let them be scanned. In my spare time one summer I was making like $40 an hour with a full time job. $4000 handbag can't be travelled with, sold. Etc

There's no frontier left where one can be free. Off grid living and homelessness (if you're are logistically minded). Might be the place to be free left.

I started with compiling from source, moved to redhat , slackware , lfs , Gentoo.
Ubuntu was great as hardware got good enough not to need custom kernels.
The last few years quality has suffered. Upgrading used to be a no-brainer. The last few upgrades hosed my systems each time. Moved to Arch over such losses. Snap and flatpak are giant issues, so is docker crap. Docker is the best of the bunch, but I like to have a choice. If I'm installing a server that does one thing. I don't need docker. Kinda silly
