Hippomundo is a bootstrapped SaaS company focused on data analysis for sport horses. We gather pedigree information as well as sport results in the three Olympic disciplines, and build enhanced pedigrees, tools and visualisations for breeders, riders and horse owners, as well as studbooks, federations, and more.
We are looking for a junior/medior full stack developer, with experience in PHP (we use Laravel) and Javascript (we use VueJS). We use MySQL (extensively) and ElasticSearch for our primary datastore and search infrastructure respectively. You also know your way around nginx, docker and Redis. You aspire to eventually become a "full stack engineer", knowning your way around server setups, Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.
You are expected to be in some onsite meetings or co-working for ~ 1-2 days per week, working the rest of your time from home. You speak at least Dutch and English and can easily transport yourself to regions Bruges and Gent.
The work is always interesting, and also never done. We are currently looking into machine learning and AI to improve our products, so if you have a least in interest in learning any of these topics, you're already ahead of the curve.
Sounds interesting? Great! Contact me by mail on jobs [at] hippomundo [dot] com
