The message I intended to express is that the individual I'm addressing likely has affiliations with the Muslim community, or is a Muslim himself, potentially being a vocal advocate or sympathizer of extremist causes. Therefore, I believe there is no need to dignify their comments with a respectful or substantive response, as they appear to be engaging in trolling behavior at best, or is a terror supporter at worst (and likely scenario)
terror supporters like you should be banned from this site.

too bad you're posting from a throw away.

you're a coward

okay, muhamed
It's intriguing to observe several new accounts challenging me and requesting "evidence." The evidence is readily available on Mr. Abdullah's Twitter account, as he openly expresses his harmful viewpoints. If you fail to identify any problematic content on his page, regrettably, there's little I can do to enlighten you.
The fact that he's Pakistani means he's not accountable under any reasonable Western legal system. I have the same issues with products of Chinese origin or Russian products for that matter.

Just browse through his twitter history (https://twitter.com/thecodrr), he's clearly in support of murderous terrorists that have attacked Israel.
He does not answer to any reasonable Western legal system.

Re:Pynchon in Public Day on Tuesday May 09, 2023 @04:45AM (#35871659)
tbh, Pynchon is overrated, pretentious and tedious. If he were an engineer, he’d be the kind that implements event driven microservices architecture just to recommend new items for users.

Sure, he so smart - but if he so smart, why he so stupid?

Re:Why big tech companies need so many people on Friday February 10, 2023 @05:44AM (#34738010)
Protip: they dont.
Seems like there are a couple of people with this mindset at every company. “Let’s write X”, “are you crazy, no one writes X! We can use Y!”, “But Y lacks Z”, “No! The thing you want Y to do is bad! You should not want Z! Do W instead - it is the correct way”

Stop larping as graybeards, and try to actually do something instead of endlessly bike shedding your cargo cult.

Re:How I Wrote My Book on Monday December 06, 2021 @11:38PM (#29469113)
This is an interesting approach to self promotion.

Instead of outright saying “I wrote a book, you should buy it!”, you generate some form of meta-content revolving around your book, that ideally fits the kind of content that would be appreciated by the people on whatever platform you’re doing the promotion on.

Admittedly this ain’t exactly rocket science and in this specific case the actual agenda is so obvious as to make ones eye roll but it does make you wonder about other more subtle techniques being applied.

And very quickly this can lead to a form of existential crisis where you wonder if anything you see, even say on hn, has any actual value or maybe its all just people finding ways to hijack and abuse basic human neural mechanisms in order to generate revenue off of others.

And then you wonder, what does that make them? If these people and what they do are solely defined by what others find “interesting”, or by what can be profitable - what does that mean about who they are? Like, they are essentially non-entities, with no real human substance to them: they are the descriptions of our worst tendencies and reflections of economic mechanisms. I think this is called “soulless”.

Maybe I should write a post about how I wrote this post. Like subscribe and leave a comment :)

No it’s fine. You’re just getting and tired of the churn. Most changes are good and welcome imho (30 y/o software dev tho, not a PM [thank god]).

Re:On Pegasus – NSO, Israel, and the World on Friday December 03, 2021 @02:49AM (#29427656)
As someone who worked in Israel and is familiar with the tech scene there firsthand I can testify to the fact that the entire cybersecurity industry is intertwined with the IDF and the Israeli government to such a degree that any differentiation that could be made would be purely superficial.

The intelligence units of the IDF are petri dishes in which the talent that later creates the very cybersecurity firms whose products are sold under the direct supervision of the Israeli government is cultivated. There is an entire framework focused around funding and training these graduates of intelligence units to create commercial companies that are essentially subsidiaries of the IDF. And these companies don't discriminate when it comes to sales - clients include tyrants, criminal organizations and even Muslim states. Big corporations e.g. Microsoft are also involved, as they usually end up buying these infosec enterprises, essentially funding the Israeli government / military.

It's truly disturbing to see the opportunistic nature of all of this.
