Oh man the traffic would move soo slow! Imagine being hit by things before you could see it in the traffic, because you are moving at a speed more than 5 kmph.

At 5kmph you see things leave the destination and reach you at the same time.

More than 5kmph, you see it is already in front of you and at the destination at the same time. Interesting :)

Isn't it more like "meter" expands/contracts based on where you are in space?

"usefulness" being the keyword here. I agree that the investment of resources goes towards the "usefulness" as in, there is a profit to be made here "usefulness" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I use Linux for work, so i was not venturing into unfamiliar territory when i switched to Linux on Mac. When i installed Linux (elementary OS) on my Mac few years back, the issue that annoyed me was not the OS, but lack of proper drivers for my the touchpad.

I would still recommend trying it out as your mileage may vary.

The heading start with a conversation mood "So, what are we doing?", but the huge form looses that warmth. So I prpose to convert it to a "multi-step" form where you asks questions in a friendly manner provide a nice engaging experience to the users. This could also give you opportunity to fine-tune filters (skip/expand) as user fills the form.

Just to be clear, am not suggesting a conversational agent here.
