I might use it for helping manage Facebook marketplace listings as that is data that is already on meta.
Nah we're good Zefram Cochrane's first warp flight wasn't till 2063 ;-)

They don’t need to throw a stack of cash at them, Anthropic and OpenAI have programs for open source maintainers.

In other news, "Show HN: This up votes itself"[1] from 14 years ago is still the 20th most voted story in HN history.[2]

As many other comments have said there probably is a good percent of stars by claws themselves, I would be curious what percent this is but it is also interesting: current "dumb bot" stars/spam etc is entirely automated and coordinated but these claws probably independently reasoned over long thought chains about why it is a good idea to star openclaw.
Re:Data centers in space makes no sense on Tuesday February 03, 2026 @06:50PM (#46879183)
Starlink and Falcon 9 have been an excellent pairing, Falcon 9 partially reusable rockets created a lot launch capacity and starlink filled the demand. Starship if it meets its goals will create more launch fully reusable supply by orders of magnitude, but there is not the demand for all that launch capacity. Starlink can take some of it but probably not all so they need to find a customer to fill it in order to build up enough to have the volume to eventually colonize mars.
Re:Lemonade Autonomous Car Insurance (With Tesla FSD Discount) on Saturday January 31, 2026 @01:52AM (#46834150)
I could see prediction markets handing insurance in the future, it could probably get fairer prices but would have to be done right to avoid bad incentives, interesting to think about how that might work.
Re:AI assistants misrepresent news content 45% of the time on Wednesday October 22, 2025 @11:44AM (#45670877)
For comparison, what percentage of the time do human run publications misrepresent news content?

Re:OpenAI o3-pro on Tuesday June 10, 2025 @06:01PM (#44241948)
There is still plenty of room for growth on the ARC-AGI benchmarks. ARC-AGI 2 is still <5% for o3-pro and ARC-AGI 1 is only at 59% for o3-pro-high:

"ARC-AGI-1: * Low: 44%, $1.64/task * Medium: 57%, $3.18/task * High: 59%, $4.16/task

ARC-AGI-2: * All reasoning efforts: <5%, $4-7/task

Takeaways: * o3-pro in line with o3 performance * o3's new price sets the ARC-AGI-1 Frontier"

Re:Purple exists only in our brains on Friday April 04, 2025 @12:17PM (#43584580)
This is equivalent to saying a C Major chord only exists in our brains since it isn't a note.
I think there is still an issue. I think it is counting down to the next 7:39 local time. Right now it says opens in 22h 50m for me (I am in mountain time) (this was at 8:49 MST / 10:49 EST)

VPN doesn’t work for TikTok so must be based on the App Store. VPN does seem to work to use CapCut so far though.
Even if you already have TikTok on you phone, you can’t use it now and get the following message:

> Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now

> A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use TikTok for now.

> We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!

It gets people to not need to carry their wallet anymore so they will use apple/google pay instead of physical cards.
They could emergency return to earth right away if needed.

Groq also has pay as you go pricing for llama3 8B for only $0.05/$0.08 that is very fast.

I'm sure the E.U. will eventually force them to let you replace Siri with another voice assistant if you live in the E.U.
Yeah. The review and findings should have at least attempted to answer the question: "What did Ilya see?"
Re:Show HN: Qwertle, yet another daily word game on Thursday January 25, 2024 @07:04PM (#39137207)
I like it! It would be nice if you could tap on any of the letters you have already typed when you are entering a guess and be able to see the guesses for that letter and change that letter without having to delete the other letters as you are working on a guess, I also agree with some of the feedback on making the color scale clearer.
Re:A Coder Considers the Waning Days of the Craft on Tuesday November 14, 2023 @01:03PM (#38266998)
Are the junior devs expected to code it without running it and without seeing it rendered, or are they allowed to iterate on the code getting feedback from how it looks on screen and from the dev tools? If it is the second one, you need to give the agent the same feedback including screen shots of any rendering issues to GPT4-V and all relevant information in dev tools for it to be a fair comparison. Eventually there will be much better tooling for this to happen automatically.
Re:Mars has a surprise layer of molten rock inside on Thursday October 26, 2023 @06:17PM (#38032415)
Once we start construction on mars, will the machines be called marsmoving equipment?
You could look at it as the chat requests being the API, which is simple yes, but in a way the prompts you would write could also be considered the API, in which case it is the most complex API ever. People aren't worried about having to change the first one, it's the prompting needing to change/ model not having the right capabilities.
