Polkadot / Kusama (by the original CTO of Ethereum Dr. Gavin Wood)

Nice recent interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAa1vKyVR5M

By "make the world population less" he means giving birth-control and sex education to those in developing countries, not killing off the people who already exist.
That is how a direct listing works.

Too bad HN users hated on him in 2012 when looking for a co-founder instead of having an open mind.

Re:Ask HN: Why do you still use Wordpress in 2021? on Tuesday March 23, 2021 @10:12AM (#26555241)
My SEO ranks are always the best when I use WordPress, and I'm in eCommerce so it's important to me. Haven't been able to get the same results with Shopify, but I am actually currently moving a $1m/year site from WooCommerce to Shopify, and 50%+ of traffic comes from organic search, so hoping there isn't too much long-term damage from google with the transition. The founder really wants to move to Shopify being the reason.

If you want to see a real Decentralized Central Bank I highly recommend digging into SORA Network.

It's a self-funded project by the founder (No VC's, No ICO, No Presale, etc.) with a fair launch and the team has already developed a live central bank digital currency called Bakong in Cambodia.

Ah I see. I thought the taxes would be taken out before the BTC is sent.

Did you consider the environmental impact of the entire traditional financial system?

There are no taxes for being paid in BTC, only when you sell.

Ideally you can use Blockfi.com and take out a loan using your BTC as collateral if you need fiat.

It's a real store of value to me and it's payment network will scale over the next decade.

https://blockfi.com - use your crypto for collateral and take a loan or earn interest on it.
Then you can use https://ipfs2arweave.com to pin it to the Permaweb forever.

That won't be a problem for long, it's the early days for crypto still scaling.

I personally haven't done it either, but am considering a $5-10k loan just to try it out. The 6-8%~ isn't worth it for the custodial risk to me as well.
Not your keys, not your coins.
Oh no, Bitcoin has "crashed" to where it was at the start of the year! That is only double what it was a month before, and only 10x what it was a year ago!
