Bonus is a very significant component (often the majority) of comp that gets cut when you're under a noncompete in these kinds of jobs. Yes I understand that's a "world's smallest violin" problem at these scales.

Look up a consignment shop in your area, take your stuff to them, they'll handle it and give you like 30-50% of what they sell it for, done.
Re:Startup Idea: Reverse Amazon

Pawn shops exist and will give you about that percentage for your stuff.

Yes. Or to go even older, this is a rehash of consignment stores/estate sales/liquidation centers, but with the internet involved.

Professionally-produced porn has 2257 consent verification documents for every actor. My guess is that OF and the uploaders do not have those documents from this woman.

You said "blaming the tech aspect is deflecting responsibility", but nobody blamed the tech, they blamed the poor moderation. I was clarifying, not attacking you :)
Re:Behind the OnlyFans porn boom: allegations of rape, abuse, betrayal
on Thursday March 14, 2024 @12:41PM (#39706129)
This article is about a woman who was raped by two guys who filmed the assault, and they then put the video on onlyfans to sell. The woman says "no" in the video itself according to her lawyer. OnlyFans says they moderate 100% of the videos posted, yet they did not catch this, and they made money on it. You cannot play the common carrier card here.

One private room per team works very well for programmers without the expense justification. The two most productive jobs I've ever had in an office were with that arrangement, not cubicles or open offices.
Re:Volkswagen Will Bring Back Physical Buttons in New Cars

Funny enough, the Taos and Jetta, which are their cheapest models, have physical buttons for volume and climate control and there isn't this level of friction using the car. I have a Taos, so I paid less for a better experience than a GTI or ID4 driver.
