Yep https://teddit.net/ although it’s quite slow. There are other alternatives out there too.
That’s refreshing to hear. Good on you!
Hah, so true on both points.
Thanks this sounds exactly what I need! Pretty much only use Chrome for Google Meet.

This is great on so many levels. That’s a great model that would work well in almost any town. I’d definitely go if I was in New York. Well done!

Re:The golden age of computer user groups on Friday August 21, 2020 @11:59AM (#24235963)
Fun read. Some of the local tech Meetups I’ve been to, particularly ones discussing open source, capture the spirit of user groups.

I don’t think the internet can completely replace the tight knit communities that are created from in person gatherings.

“You may not know how to follow logic.”

Regardless of the context, this is so good and hilarious on so many levels. Meme worthy! I’m going to have to try to work this quote into a conversation.

Go Epicgames! The #freefortnite campaign is bold; it’ll require users being proactive for it to maintain its momentum.

I love the the things that both companies make, but I’m not in favor of the App Store’s monopoly. I’m excited to see the outcome of this lawsuit but not very excited to wait for a long, drawn out process that the US legal system lends itself to.

The “stunning failure” and “end of era” are good clickbait phrases for a headline, but it’s made by an analyst. Gotta consider the source.

It’s definitely not surprising to see the competition close in on Intel, but it’s also not the end of an era.

TIL. Cool trick.
Oh thanks. Do you have to signup as a Microsoft partner in order to get the action pack?
That doesn’t sound good. We had similar black screen behavior. It turns out that disabling hibernation solved the problem.
