Kind of simpler in a way wouldn't it be? One provider vs 8 different streaming providers.

Contributed anything to society. I doubt anyone in my local community is going to know or care what any of those libraries, frameworks, etc are.
And shooting it's own citizens who dare to stand up to that.
You're probably too well informed. Most people aren't.
You gotta respect the honesty.

Re:Amazon pushes up prices across the Internet on Thursday October 15, 2026 @12:24AM (#50099128)
They could pay the delivery drivers a fair wage themselves. Fair wages for everyone is a much better system than a tip based system. But USA doesn't like fairness. See: no decent health care system.
Re:Muse Wonder on Monday October 12, 2026 @04:38PM (#50062723)
oh boy, you can imagine the shit eating grin on the face of whoever came up with the name "wonder full".

Re:Back and shoulder surgery is often worse than useless on Thursday September 24, 2026 @07:48PM (#49838341)
Go see a specialist sports doctor. They deal with lots of these types of injuries. My physio sent me to one when I did my shoulder in a motorcycle accident and for my case, the data showed that it was better not to operate.

Re:Why is Google still serving dodgy ads? on Sunday September 13, 2026 @03:31PM (#49687773)
One would assume so. How do you think Google, Meta, etc make all their money?
Re:Why is Google still serving dodgy ads? on Sunday September 13, 2026 @03:28PM (#49687753)

Re:Programming is Art on Monday September 07, 2026 @09:50AM (#49598456)
Isn't one of the main attractions to art the skill required to create it? If anyone can create some dodgy AI picture, it ceases to have the same, if any, value.
Re:The moral panic over data centres is foolish on Saturday September 05, 2026 @04:58PM (#49580604)

Re:Orbs on Sunday August 30, 2026 @02:35PM (#49501472)
Depends, what colour is it?
People who can't reliably subtract 12 from numbers. They're out there.
I don't recall encountering these issues. What framework was that on?
It's a better argument than the Datastar supporter's.
Re:Zed: Delta on Wednesday August 12, 2026 @03:12PM (#49277218)

Re:Cro – elegant reactive services in Raku on Monday August 03, 2026 @02:58PM (#49159974)
"This tutorial walks through building a simple Single Page Application using Cro as the backend. For the frontend, we'll use webpack, ES6, React and Redux. "

Webpack? Who wants to build something with webpack these days?

(Criticism of React omitted for brevity)

Why do people benchmark these things on image generation? Surely that is not what most people here are using them for...
Re:Future euro banknote design proposals on Friday July 24, 2026 @06:41AM (#49033618)

Re:Australia is offering free daytime electricity on Thursday July 16, 2026 @03:22PM (#48939049)
Yes, but it's nothing like winter further from the equator. It's a lovely time of year in that part of the world.
