In reality they just send more cops / more funding for cops.
What’s the current price of a house purchased before right now?
They’re usually based on sales price and then also “reassessed” every couple / few years by the PVA (property value administrator) which now usually means using some sort of algorithm based on recent sales and whatever else. Then you’re given a chance to appeal the value with evidence showing why it doesn’t fit your specific situation before the tax payment is due. At least this is how it works in my area.
This is on a county level in my state.
At an old job I was responsible for blending custom alcoholic drinks before we sent it to bottling. One required stevia which when you opened the bag it came in would float into the air everywhere (it’s a super fine powder) and being young and stupid we didn’t wear any masks or anything. For the next couple days you’d have a constant taste of it in your mouth / nose that reminded me of sweetarts candy.
I think it’s more complicated than that and one big factor is location.
In my midwestern experience startups are paying more cash than other businesses where software is a cost center.
Love to eat and live in compute.
I mean where do you expect your services to come from if there is no state income tax?
They set the culture from the top.
Can you explain why? Do you think the CIA has stopped doing these things?
Little bit different than “ simply by walking into a store and asking for one” no?
Almost like anti-gun people are purposely disingenuous when they state stuff like this and ignore the background check.
Nice another uneducated take that shows no understanding of the firearms buying process.
Do you have a plan for doing there where the Houthis don’t turn KSAs’ oil fields into hell on earth?
Which as we all know is a super level playing field.
In the US it’s typically opposite of this. Rural areas have cheaper fuel.
Crazy how a bunch of CIA connected people got him that job giving him that access, probably nothing.
Create parallel organizations / structures is about all you can do. Very clear we aren’t voting our way to something better at this point.
And that number has been steadily trending down with mergers and acquisitions.
Ordinary people don’t have savings and pensions, at least not in the US.
So do landlords just eat that tax increase or do they raise rents?
Or measures to hid these things have gotten better?
Eminent domain being “pretty much never used” is a bold face lie in the US.

Here’s a story from this week where a gas company took land from a forest to build a pipeline that the previous and current landowners had no interest in selling to the gas company.
Lmao our city (Louisville, KY) got one of these a while ago and the police department just straight up refuses to cooperate. What are we gonna do arrest them?
Highly recommend Aberration in the Heartland of the Real by Dr. Wendy Painting if you want to know more about McVeigh.
And it’s transported as a liquid in rail cars, so that 20,000 gallons of liquid turns into many many more gallons (lol) of gas.
Why not use mass? The reportable quantity is 1 pound.
Stopped reading at “20,000 gallons of gas”. What a ridiculous measurement.
The class of people in the government doesn’t change.
Or maybe their lobbyists get on the phones and secure them a nice bailout, since they’re so “essential” as we’ve just seen.
Any normal time period would be considered “extremely hot” compared to the last decade+ of artificially low rates.
And all that extra profit is hovered up by the people above you that had nothing to do with it. Validated engineering cost savings should be treated like sales, the engineer gets a percentage.
