I don't understand the protein/dollar column. Flour has protein listed as "3" and price as 1.68 but I can't see how to get 134 protein/dollar from these numbers. The calorie/dollar column works the way you would expect.

Not everyone is attracted to the same thing. Personally I don't know much about the "art scene" but many of the people I find attractive have turned out to be artists and musicians.

First of all, shit like this year after year is why I don't use fb or insta.
That said, if somebody went on one of my websites and commented that they were mad at me and planned to show up at my house and do nefarious things, well, yes I certainly would be on the lookout for that person.

Re:The backlash against overtourism

I live in New Orleans and this rings true to me. It sucks because many times there is something special about the place that led it to become a tourist destination in the first place, whether it's natural wonders like mountains or a beach, a culture that produces new musical genres every few decades, or a historical legacy of art and architecture. It is nice to live in these environments and it sucks that cheap commodified travel and packaged tourism is exacerbating the problems that come from an economy based on serving tourists.

These films are meant to depict a certain type of person, one who is drawn to the appeal of wealth and particularly the excess and display present in certain communities. I can imagine how someone who had this type of predisposition would feel inspired if they were exposed to that lifestyle by one of these movies and develop an aspiration for the specific position where previously it was a more amorphous longing for wealth and privilege.
