News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

clickbait

This past year has been filled with a vast amount of false accusations; in my opinion, it would be wise to be sceptical of any claims that aren't backed up with any evidence.

Anyone could write an article saying that Uber was misogynistic towards them in some way, and everyone will eat it up because they already hate Uber over the JFK airport stuff.

I personally won't have anything against Uber until these claims are proven to be true; too often is it found out that the claims are lies.

I think it'd be fairly obvious that something suspicious was going on if a large number of dormant "aged accounts" just happened to login for the first time in months to upvote a specific thread.
The difference is that people use the terms "racist prejudice" to justify racism.
I don't particularly like how it has become a normal occurrence for people to try and ruin the lives of others simply because they have a different opinion.
I don't understand how it's relevant that he's white or a guy; people that aren't white or male cannot be racist?

Kinda ironic considering your comment is about racism.

The problem is that all of the points as a whole don't really amount to anything particularly bad.

Like, sure they aren't good, but if you have skin so thin that a few immature remarks and the lack of a gender in a video game is damaging to your life, it's nobody's problem but your own.

The same reason they painted knights fighting giant snails. Medieval artists were an odd bunch.

Thanks for stating the obvious.
A thirty second Google search will tell you that yes, he was in fact labelled a terrorist by the media.

Flipping the genders around doesn't make it any less sexist.
