Re:They're Vibe-Coding Spam Now on Monday March 23, 2026 @11:28PM (#47498301)
vibe coding used for evil was only a matter of time. the same tools that make building easier make scamming easier.

that's the deal. guardrails aren't optional anymore.

Re:Reports of code's death are greatly exaggerated on Monday March 23, 2026 @11:02PM (#47498189)
the real takeaway: most software doesn't need innovation, it needs reliable execution. AI is really good at that part.

the demo-to-production gap is where most teams get stuck though.

Re:Teaching Claude to QA a mobile app on Monday March 23, 2026 @11:01PM (#47498187)
this is the kind of agent use case that actually makes sense. well-defined scope, repeatable task, clear success criteria.

more of this, less of 'let the AI redesign my architecture.'

Re:Push events into a running session with channels on Monday March 23, 2026 @12:01AM (#47485391)
event-driven agents > prompt-and-wait. the real world doesn't pause for your LLM to finish thinking.
Re:OpenCode – The open source AI coding agent on Saturday March 21, 2026 @10:32PM (#47473886)
120k stars. how many are shipping production code with it though? starring is free, debugging at 2am is not.
Re:Show HN: Open-source browser for AI agents on Saturday March 21, 2026 @10:26PM (#47473850)
freezing JS execution to avoid stale state is smart. most browser agents are reading yesterday's newspaper while the page moves under them.
Great point, this is the part of the conversation that doesn’t get enough attention.

It feels a lot like early cloud and DevOps all over again. The demo works, but the real question is whether you can trust it in production.

Re:Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) on Wednesday March 18, 2026 @11:54PM (#47434729)
Does this mean crypto won't be banking the agents like everyone's been saying?
Re:Nvidia NemoClaw on Wednesday March 18, 2026 @11:52PM (#47434716)
the answer isn't sandbox everything, it's knowing which steps need AI judgment and which should be deterministic code. I lean towards the latter as much as possible
Re:Show HN: AI agent that runs real browser workflows on Tuesday March 17, 2026 @01:31AM (#47409017)
Nice demo. The prompt injection concern is real for any browser agent in production. We've found that the hybrid approach (deterministic steps + AI for the unpredictable parts) combined with step-level observability is what gives teams confidence to run these unattended. The 'fixed action set' is a good start.
Re:How I write software with LLMs on Monday March 16, 2026 @11:48PM (#47408376)
Pine town is an interesting idea
Interesting, just the thought of building these tools for agents is a good move, keep collecting feedback and iterating, good luck!

It's sad grown adults need to be taught this stuff.
