I switched recently. I think the safe bet now is to just use my personal domain and whatever provider I move to next I can just update MX records. Really annoying but it is what it is.

Re:Be Aware of What's in Your Logs
on Sunday October 25, 2026 @08:12AM (#50230753)
Working in IT I could find many many peoples passwords. Because while the IdP never logged passwords themselves, it did log every username that tried to login. And a lot of people have typed their password in first thinking they had typed their username in already. It's pretty trivial at that point to figure who logged in successfully next and associate the two.

They absolutely are. Every ceo sees security as a massive money pit (it is) but there’s a reason it’s expensive and hard to do well. Those compliance frameworks they show off are meaningless and can be manipulated extremely easily. There are a lot of security leaders who are going to be having a very bad time soon.

Americans on average are too stupid and too easily manipulated for this to ever be a matter of concern for them though.

There's a bunch of videos I get on Instagram that shows someone asking a trump supporter about facts or relatively basic things. They either completely deny it when confronted or make an excuse for why they suddenly have a double standard. These people have fundamentally broken brains and can be told anything and they believe it.

Well, sample size of 1 but a family member was in debilitating pain all the time until they had a couple vertebrae fused. They can walk and life is mostly normal for them now.
The CSAM generation model got an upgrade. The sad part about this is that I bet it still generates CSAM. Given that the owner of the company has made a nazi salute in public and thinks CSAM generating models are cool, I don't think they addressed the issue of this generating CSAM.

What about the part where it's the consumers obligation to notify guests or people passing by that LG is recording and saving their voices for fuck knows what all. They didn't mention that at all.
They also specify "for advertising purposes" in the response. It's pretty selective in that wording because it implies that it may be used for other purposes.

How was there ever any doubt that these cameras and this access would be used in this way?
I personally blame the lack of accountability that police have in the US and the lack of public oversight into how departments operate.
