> The LAPD is not expected to like the existence of “Fuck the LAPD” merchandise. But their sole remedy is to not do things that result in people wanting to buy and wear “Fuck the LAPD” merchandise. I understand that would be a difficult task. But I promise you that it would still be easier than trying to get a court to rule that “Fuck the LAPD” shirts violate the LAPDF’s intellectual property rights.
Perfection.

Up to the client really, I know that Lagrange[1] supports this.

app.net[1] tried this in the early 2010s, unfortunately most people (i.e. enough people to justify running the service) wouldn't pony up.

Server side rendering is a flaw?

Things like Laragon (https://laragon.org/) have taken up the XAMPP mantle in recent years. Not sure about production (I moved away from Windows for dev stuff similarly), but developing with PHP on Windows has definitely got easier, imo.
Wow... TIL that the placement of the bang in the search string (and even the position of the exclamation mark) doesn't matter!

Didn't this also happen years ago with the EU trying to force Apple to use Micro USB?
I believe Apple got around it by selling Lightning to Micro USB adapters in their stores.

I believe Vimeo used to do something like this - iirc once you bought a movie you could download the original as well. Don't think it moved past a few independent films/series though.

Instagram and Whatsapp stories I can understand - I don't particularly think they're good decisions, but I can understand them.
To an extent it makes even more sense in the Facebook app itself, but having the core app and Messenger have separate stories despite them using the same exact account is ridiculous to me.
