Re:The SEC Should Block Anthropic's IPO to Protect the Public on Monday November 02, 2026 @10:24PM (#50347649)
Making the carry and fees to unwind a lockup that effectively does nothing is really really profitable.

Yo dog, we put a DOM in your Canvas in your DOM.
You can rent a gpu cluster and get it done, otherwise on the frontiers, Haiku and Sonnet have lower barriers... I still get tripped up.
Re:Jailbreaking the Switch 2 on Thursday October 22, 2026 @01:18PM (#50198295)
But locking their cards to the hardware preventing a resale market is pretty crumby. I only purchase Switch2 games that are physical, no download codes. Vote with your dollars.

Wonderful news to not see the duopoly accelerating real science.
Re:Catch a Bird – I made it for my own sanity on Thursday October 15, 2026 @02:28AM (#50099976)
Thank you for building this, it's a beautiful reminder that the world is pretty awesome, and it's something I am gonna keep up on my third screen when I need a smile.
He was left wing cause that sweet tax credit for alternate energy... does anyone remember A123 and the amount the Obama administration put into it. Literally, Solar City and Tesla were to hit the sweet sweeet rebates. You can see the effects by companies like Ford canceling the F150 lighting cause the consumer breaks are gone, he was pillaging California and other Federal rebates to build his businesses, then does SpaceX to suck funds from the DoD to launch NRO sattelites. His affiliations go where the money gun blows.
He get's his bags from the DoD either way... in-fact the chaos undoubtedly is actually more profitable, make hay while the sun is up... we live in a busted reality of broligarchs that are actually DoD welfare queens. They are literally on both sides of the trade so profit is inevitable. When america elect's a clown, we get a whole 3 ring circus.
isn't that all of OpenAI
um, this is an easy way to make edge models illegal.... fuck those clowns.
MBS using that sweet graykey behavior to exfiltrate what they can

Re:Example.com Just Launched the Biggest Redesign in Decades on Monday October 05, 2026 @08:46PM (#49972764)
that's a really good point I'd not considered but if you just hash the response and the followups remain consistent (they do in this case)... you're gonna do just fine.
Have you ever formatted your hard drive and installed linux...
Re:Example.com Just Launched the Biggest Redesign in Decades on Monday October 05, 2026 @07:11PM (#49972036)
it's nice, and it surprised me when I saw the redesign.... I use it to navigate into captive wifi portals that always seem to be misconfigured.
one can only hope, this broken version of democrazy has really over extended themselves into rationalizing some of the worst behavior in modern times... The collusion between their leadership and American lobbyists has been a terrible look for America, and fortunately we live in a world where access to information has outpaced their ability to control the narrative. Boomers really let the future down man.
Re:Web Search API on Monday October 05, 2026 @06:01PM (#49971478)
I love that businesses that would've been considered too risky to get in are all the rage if they feed the LLM demon. Scraping other's results? NO PROBLEM! They carry so much traffic they can literally just syndicate their network pipeline and find a new bullets for the money gun.
I urge you to urge me to stop is critical Super Dario

a vpn company is a paid for MITM attack surface.
nice, Karp really reeled in a nice big fish, and ofcourse he is going to blame OpenAI/Anthropic for giving the targets, this explains his CNBC rants about the frontiers, his tool was the trigger in a killchain of hallucination.
It's been a while since I used a Rete rule engine, back in my days as math nerd at a mortgage bank (ooof we survived the 08 meltdown by the skin of our teeth) we used an internal fork of Drools and paired it with a merkle tree datasctructure to store lending decisions.... I knew blockchain was gonna be a thing when the genesis block referenced the bailout... I kick myself daily cause should've bought more bitcoin.
I love that when you open a web inspection console on facebook, it says "Stop! This is a browser feature intended for developers. If someone told you to copy-paste something here to enable a Facebook feature or "hack" someone's account, it's a scam and will give them access to your Facebook account. See https://www.facebook.com/selfxss for more information."
