Tap water quality really varies throughout the US. Miami Beach for example has 30x the national average for levels of PFOS in the tap water.

Being worth 5/10 cents? Of course. It seems the point is that if they were worth more (~$1) people would be sure to keep them to recycle

Just wait until you find out that PFAS is already being spread on crops from the common practice of using sewage "sludge" as a fertilizer.
