I agree, even the author aludes to this when refering to trials and how to cancel them. (text in parenthesis added by me)
> One day before removal, we had 1209 active trials. (money in our pockets)
> [...] established a help center with articles on canceling trials (cause we have a UI team dedicated on making it complicated)
Well, in the next hour, a journalist is going to get banned, a campaign will come up to get them unbanned, and Twitter will change the rule. We'll be fine.
Do your thing, use your free time and don't expect anything.
Not only bots are ruining Instagram, their algorithm showing you posts from 3 days ago and an ad every 8-10 pictures is a killer, pretty much forcing me to only see stories.
"Oh let me show you this picture that you missed 4 days ago when we where showing you pictures that are 8 days old."
The future is trackable by them.
Do you really think the government is trying to protect humans and not their self interests?
> when is someone dead?, how long until release of secrets?
After the recurring payments stop coming through?
Why would you be embarrassed about something you do? It's your reality.
Keyword: early.
Those employees were also risking by joining a new company.
If you look at the top users most of them submit thousands of stories.
For example mklopez[1] submitted 16k stories were only 10% hit the frontpage and LtGenPanda[2] submitted 2,481 with a 42% popular ratio.
You can see this stats at the bottom right of the user profile on Digg.

Even simpler:
javascript:updateSlider1(4);
There's also plenty of design related posts or "snaps".
So, it's basically a PHP shared hosting with source control(git)? I would try it.
Those problems are software based, which can be fixed with an update.
They make themselves public, that's doing something.
Twitter is a newsletter reader.
That's how I use it, I don't have anything to say(and would most likely use my blog if I had to post something) but I'm following artists/companies to keep up with their news.
Most likely, whoever designed that took the "let's do something like metalab" too seriously.
Even if the site isn't using a CPM model, getting paid by views, ad impressions still count towards getting better ad deals. For example when dealing with private ad-sales.
some people also use ad impressions to count pageviews, for example with Adsense, if you have 3 ad-units on one page, they count as one pageview.
Although, having a huge technical audience who doesn't click any ads will greatly decrease the CTR which will affect the eCPM the publisher is getting paid.
I remember seeing a website like that, it was a "multiplayer flash whiteboard" and dozens of people were connected at any given time. It was mostly full of penises and other sexual drawings, as you would expected.
Deer hooves open forming a V shape when touching the floor, that's how they don't get stuck when drinking water from a lake. I would guess speed is also important.
Agree, we need a minified version, also remember to turn on gzip in your server.
