Re:What are the books banned in camp Guantanamo? on Sunday January 15, 2017 @01:07AM (#13402619)
Apparently, of the 800 men they have detained only 9 ever went to trial. Without trial ...

You overestimate the willingness of the police force to prove that they are willing to risk their lives and die for what they believe in. In fact, they won't. Ultimately, they count on the army to do that, who won't either.

Re:Bitcoin Is an Escapist Safe Haven on Thursday January 05, 2017 @04:09AM (#13325807)
Ultimately, all of this assumes that the IRS are willing to prove that they will risk their lives and die for what they believe in. They will not, because they expect the police force to do that, who in turn will not, because they expect the army to do that. And that is how it all went wrong so often in the past.

"Basic English is enough for that" ? I am amazed at the simplicity of the work you are referring to. Do they still pay a salary for that, or are these people supposed to work for free? Maybe they get paid through something like a Russian fiverr?
Re:The primary issues that make frameworks flawed on Sunday November 13, 2016 @05:36AM (#12942724)
He is right. Give me a specialized collection of functions any time, aka, a library, but I will never again use a framework, which is a half-finished program, of which the users are supposed to figure out how to fill in the blanks. A framework imprisons your own code within confines and limitations of what will often turn out to be some kind of imbecilistan.
