This is pretty fucking insane and I hate the man
They are banning everyone around him too. Groups that are for him...
Its a shame.

I was trying to get back into the job market and was scheduled for my 3rd and final interview tomorrow. They canceled it and apologized. Told me hopefully they'll call me back in a month... I doubt they will.

I'm sick of hearing about "net neutrality". Nothing changed when it was shot down. Report this or rage has much as you want but NOTHING has changed. I'm now more weary of "net neutrality" than ever before.

Another trend I've seen is stores selling international editions. It's not a big issue to me, minus the usually crappier paper and cover. But it does seem shady.

We started using commitizen at my workplace. It really seems to push the idea of good commit logs. Combined with jira ID hooks to keep people from pushing without a story/ticket.

Re:Ask HN: Have you ever regretted working on a product?

I just left a job that felt exactly the same way. Only problem is I let 6 years go by and now I feel I'm behind in the world. The company spent the last 8 years trying to replace another 3rd party system. They're still to this day using the 3rd party system. It feels like such a waste.

As a programmer, one of the coolest places I've been is the living computer museum in Seattle. I'm reading "idea man" right now. This guy was quite the force. It's a big loss!!
