Rather than respond to you directly, I'll quote more from OP (a sly maneuver, I know):

> If that [Power of Habit book] was taught as a class in high school, it might eliminate long-term drug addiction.

No.

The book "Power of Habit", while incredibly valuable and informative, will not have this effect. If you believe otherwise, you have no understanding of the root causes of long-term addiction.

> I read Power of Habit, so I can easily quit things

I mean no ill-intent, but this feels like an incredibly naive thing to say. The inference "I read X book, therefore I am immune to / protected from addiction".

In my experience, chatgpt is incredibly wordy / verbose. This doesn't read as chatgpt output at all.
My first over-the-handlebars resulted in a fractured Greater Tuberosity. Pretty sure I reached my arm out to catch myself. Terrible decision.
I know how to fall (intellectually). How do I translate that into the real world? I took a nasty fall on my MTB this summer, broke my shoulder. Everything was instinctual and a blur. Can we somehow retrain our innate responses?
I rode a Boosted Board for the best part of 1 year on the streets of Brooklyn. I ended up selling it; although I absolutely loved the experience, I knew one day I would rip my face off if I encountered even a small pothole.
Presumably because the Date of Birth on the account is immutable, and the son's ID (even when he becomes 18) will never match it?

Would love to know how it compares to Beyond Compare, which is the tool I've been using for the last decade on the Mac

For me, I just felt that brought on a sense of monotony. The entire sequence could take a good couple of hours. Good game design drives you onwards because you're excited about what's coming next (the same rule applies with good novel writing). I would instead groan to myself and think "ugh, again?".

The story was the redeeming feature throughout this sequence however.

I'm looking at you, Metal Gear Solid.
