Open could mean open to integration (API), or opens your mind, or opens possibilities.
I agree. Many times those little interjections don't feel natural. It's impressive, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

It is the new standard. It sounds awful until you try it, and then you can't go back. But you can still use an IDE as well to edit code by hand and review changes that agents have made.

There needs to be a new sig like "Written by Claude" or something. I'd rather somebody just openly admits it.
Re:A built-in 'off switch' to stop persistent pain

Chronic pain is different. It's a messenger telling you there's something wrong with your back when there's actually nothing wrong with your back. There's something wrong with the messenger.

It also doesn't look like it would cover spouse/kid devices in Family.
Can I add my family’s devices to my AppleCare One plan?
AppleCare One plans can cover devices that are on the same Apple Account as the subscriber.

It's kind of scary how good it is. I haven't completely switched over, but I think a lot of that is just not wanting to admit that this is the new paradigm and the implications. The ability to not only find what you're looking for faster, but have it tailored to your specific context? It's hard to go back from that.

I'm hoping that's true and there's still an option for a flat, minimal look.

I think practically everyone is better off with a laptop. iPad is great if you're an artist using the pencil, or just consuming media on it. Otherwise a macbook is far more powerful and ergonomic to use.

Yeah, I think people are incorrectly assuming that everyone had the same experience with the stream. I watched the whole thing and only had a few instances of buffering and quality degradation. Not more than 30 seconds total during the stream.
Re:Former President Trump is projected to win the presidency
on Wednesday November 06, 2024 @09:23AM (#42062702)
I don't buy it. There's a reality distortion field at work here. If Trump had been in office he would he would have been touting the economy as the greatest in history. And 'average people' would have 'seen that' despite not 'seeing it'.

A lot of people are saying they do it just to sell more iPads, but I'm skeptical. I bet they have research telling them only a small percentage of customers want multi-user sharing.
Yeah, the female voice especially is really impressive in the demos. The voice always sounds natural. The male voice I heard wasn't as good. It wasn't terrible, but it had a somewhat robotic feel to it.
