As the old joke goes, "AI" is anything that doesn't work yet.
Once an "AI" system becomes reliable, we quickly take it for granted and it no longer seems impressive or interesting. It's just a database. Or an image classifier. Or a chatbot.

Yes, they laid off ~500 folks in Feb 2020 right before covid gave them a huge (and in retrospect, temporary) shot in the arm.

The 3rd-gen Apple TV 4K introduced on the 18th switched the charging port on the remote from Lightning to USB-C.
