Rive can do that!
Re:Interactive tutorial building polished UI in JavaScript on Tuesday September 19, 2023 @06:13PM (#37577657)
No luck on Android here either
Can add the JS to an Arc Boost as well, I think.
Eh, Twitter is much worse now for sure, but depending on the folks you follow, there's still some solid up-to-date news/takes/insights there. In general, it's not great though.
Eh, I have a much less narrow definition of "you" than you do.
Re:Framework Laptop Cupholder Expansion Card on Wednesday May 03, 2023 @11:01AM (#35803213)
Lol, gotta love that old free cupholder.
This is so weird. Can artists who splash paint randomly at a canvas not copyright those artworks? Or ones who attach a paint bucket to a rope and swing it over the canvas, giving it just one push?
Re:People who use Notion to plan their whole lives on Tuesday April 25, 2023 @10:57AM (#35701370)
Hmm -- can you link directly to Trello lists/cards? Wondering if you could leverage a Chrome link on the home screen if that would then throw you over to Trello automatically? Not sure.

"Was that another dog?"

BingDrive: I'm sorry, but I prefer not to continue this conversation.

Hey, guys. Hey. Ready to talk plate processing and residue transport plate funneling? Why don't we start with joust jambs? Hey, why not? Plates and jousts. Can we couple them? Hell, yeah, we can. Want to know how? Get this. Proprietary to McMillan. Only us. Ready? We fit Donnely nut spacing grip grids and splay-flexed brace columns against beam-fastened derrick husk nuts and girdle plate Jerries, while plate flex tandems press task apparati of ten vertipin-plated pan traps at every maiden clamp plate packet. Knuckle couplers plate alternating sprams from the t-nut to the SKN to the chim line. Yeah. That is the McMillan way. And it's just another day at the office.

Re:Simply explained: How does GPT work? on Thursday April 06, 2023 @03:36PM (#35473309)
From our environment, genetics, and other people. We simply are able to take in more inputs (i.e. not just text) than LLMs.
Re:Simply explained: How does GPT work? on Thursday April 06, 2023 @03:33PM (#35473282)
What goals do we have that aren't essentially all boiled down to whatever evolution, genetics, and our environment have sorted of molded into us?
Re:ChatGPT: Mayor starts legal bid over false bribery claim on Thursday April 06, 2023 @03:25PM (#35473172)
If I create a random text generator and it happens to spit out something that could be considered libelous, should I be able to be sued?
Re:ChatGPT: Mayor starts legal bid over false bribery claim on Thursday April 06, 2023 @03:24PM (#35473160)
Well, that seems ridiculous, but I'd be curious to find the actual case.
Re:Apple Passwords Deserve an App on Tuesday March 28, 2023 @01:24PM (#35344638)
Isn't it considered not great to do TOTP and password storage in the same place?
Re:Push notifications are now supported cross-browser on Tuesday March 28, 2023 @12:19PM (#35343486)
At least within the website, we'll likely be able to use Ublock Origin, etc. to block a lot of 'em
Re:Push notifications are now supported cross-browser on Tuesday March 28, 2023 @12:16PM (#35343448)
I love how detailed the notification management on Android can be

They might know you probably won't want it, but they're hoping you'll click yes or accept without thinking, haha
Re:Apple Passwords Deserve an App on Tuesday March 28, 2023 @12:09PM (#35343321)
Maybe if you're only using devices from one type of brand. But what if you wanna access those things on a Mac and Google Pixel and an Amazon Kindle. Sure, might not be that much of a mix, but I imagine a decent amount of people have at least one device from a different brand.

Have you given Arc Browser a shot yet? It feels pretty great. Feels designed for Mac and has its own design language at the same time.

Re:Americans want to delete Instagram more than any other app on Wednesday March 08, 2023 @12:35PM (#35072067)
I'm still baffled about how TikTok hooks people. I installed it to check out an AI filter and look for a certain person doing live videos I found on YouTube. I've browsed the main feed a few times now and it's honestly 90-95%+ garbage and altogether just super annoying.
Re:The Lost Art of Lacing Cable on Tuesday March 07, 2023 @05:17PM (#35062038)
It says the following, but I still don't get it. How does a hook-and-loop tie add that much more obstruction that it could be an issue?

"This old cable management technique, taught to generations of linemen, is still used in some modern applications since it does not create obstructions along the length of the cable."

The father seems so much happier to be alone.
Re:CheatGPT on Monday February 20, 2023 @05:26PM (#34873783)
You can use this for that: https://huggingface.co/spaces/JavaFXpert/Chat-GPT-LangChain

(GPT + WolframAlpha + Whisper)

Re:Getty Images v. Stability AI โ€“ Complaint on Sunday February 05, 2023 @04:55PM (#34669943)
I can recreate a Getty watermark in Photoshop as well. Should Photoshop be held liable if I do that without Getty's permission?
Re:ChatGPT: The Slickest Con Artist of All Time on Friday February 03, 2023 @11:32PM (#34651556)
Except that ChatGPT explicitly tells you not to take what it says at face value. You're warned from the get go.
Haha, I remember messing with it on campus WiFi, but that was probably like 2010. I think the Firefox extension I used was Firesheep.
Whoa. Another Bryce D. So when do we fight?
