> Nobody is doing 'small casual transactions' with Bitcoin, which was evidently one of the goals.
That is not true and can be easily proven looking at the transactions on the blockchain.
However, layer 2 solutions like Lightning are good for small value transactions since fees are low and fast.
Love this but I have concerns with the price. You can usually find an audiobook corresponding to a paper book for relatively cheap. Services like Audible are a little more per month but you get more audio books. Given the 250 page per month limit at $9.99, how will this compete?
Exorbitant vanity gTLDs more like it.
A bit of an aside but are there any options like this for mobile?
I think most of the tips outlined in this article make sense for anyone wanting to succeed at something regardless of their talents or intellect.
I think the working hard mentality should be approached with gumption and attention to detail as this can lead to high quality results.
What is the service called?
I felt like this blog post ended quite abruptly. I was expecting for the author to show how GPT-3 was able to formulate a response back to the recruiter not just parse out the name and company of the recruiter.
What was truly won at that auction was a priceless friendship and the ability for someone to pass down some of their prized books to their grandchildren. Amazing.
I have been working fully remote for over two years now. I certainly feel quite disconnected from my team now. I remember the days of commuting, water cooler talk, and just being around people.
I’ve been with my employer for a long time now and have experienced a lot of coworkers passing away. Cancer, heart attacks, suicide, and undisclosed. The whole spectrum. Some of these coworkers I worked close with while others not so much. Either way it affects you and really puts things into perspective with how fleeting our lives are. Thinking about this gives me a lump in my throat.
What’s wrong with subscriptions?
I’m a former user of venlafaxine. The highest dose I was on was 150 mg. It really helped me out. I used it mainly to combat my anxiety but it helped with depression as well. The side effects were not great which is why I stopped. Tapering off was terrible — flu-like symptoms, mind racing at night, couldn’t sleep, sweats, etc. Would not recommend. The one thing I can say is that I do not feel like the same person having been off these meds for a long time.
If you don’t mind me asking, what are some of the top domains that you have sold on Sedo?
Thanks. In a previous comment you said that “The oxymeter beeped and woke me up.” Is this the same oxymeter? I read the FAQ for the FL350 and it doesn’t have an alarm.
A couple observations:
1. The design looks similar to Hey.com
2. The domain name/name is like Octopus Deploy.
> Zealous positivity can prevent you from somber reflection, asking difficult questions, and growing as a person overall.
Well said. This advice is something I try to follow more as I get older.
Dwelling on negative realities is a bit more challenging especially with the current events.
Questions:
1. Have you ever used Terraform? If so, how does Pulumi compare?
2. What language do you use with Pulumi?
3. What is the learning curve like for Pulumi?
4. What specific actions do you use Pulumi for with GCP?
4a. What have been some hurdles or roadblocks you have faced using Pulumi with GCP?
5. Which Pulumi plan (cloud hosted, self hosted, etc.) and how is that working for you?
There's also the traits of adaptation and resilience.
Title of news article has since been changed to: "Bank of America says 85,000 small businesses have asked for $22.2 billion in loans since 9 a.m."
Very nice!
It would be nice if on the rearrange page if the icons had alt text to display what site the icon corresponds to.
I’ve observed a trend in my life where destructive context switching during work hours leads to working after hours at home where peace and quiet facilitates productivity. I just want to get my work done and done well. I take pride in my work. No badge needed.
I wonder how this plays into context switching in the workplace specifically with software development or related jobs? I find myself struggling to keep context on the stack while handling an interruption. It makes me wonder how many tasks I actually do remember.
Are you referring to Team Topologies?
I would be wary of functions that take several parameters regardless if they are of the same type -- at that point you're already going to have to look into the documentation.
Be careful when perusing various names. Not all might be SFW.
> what am I coding for?
My family.
I’m constantly striving to be the best I can at what I do and sometimes that means burning the midnight oil. That doesn’t necessarily mean working on work related tasks after hours but working on bettering my skills and knowledge after hours so I can have more of an edge in my career and workplace.
