This was on Armchair Expert recently, Tara Stoinski. Great episode. Check it out!

High fixed costs, lack of product differentiation, low marginal costs, and sharp economies of scale sound similar to AI companies.

I wonder if empty core will apply to the AI business.

Lovely!

It’d be nice if it wasn’t specific to a “gift” maybe, but no big deal.

Would be fun is the image could be a GIF.

Maybe the photo credit and expiration could be below the fold (have to scroll) so the card gets more room on a small mobile screen?

Nicely done

That looks great. I’ll check back when Firefox and iOS are working.

What are you thinking for pricing? Any thoughts on open source + self-hosting?

What does “Go hates assert()” mean?

I feel the opposite. Building my first cli dev tool with Claude brought back the joy of software for me, joy that had been eroded by the grind of the software industry. Claude helped me solve real problems that I didn’t otherwise have time to solve (so much typing) and I really enjoyed having this tool I had been dreaming of come to life.
What’s the difference between the pricing sizes (micro, small, etc)?

Nice work! I enjoyed it.

On mobile (safari) there’s some quirk where the UI is allowed to zoom in, maybe in response to what is perceived as a double tap, but is just me typing on the keyboard.
