You mean like a prediction market? Yes, hundreds.

Re:Notes on Distributed Systems for Young Bloods (2013) on Sunday August 14, 2016 @07:48PM (#12287850)
It's funny that you would pick boinc (a rotten mashup of C and PHP with no formal spec) as your exemplar of a distributed system.
It's really very simple. If the evidence is not ignored, it's an incentive for illegal searches.

> if he finds a a photo of you and a corpse it shouldn't be ignored just because search was unreasonable.

You could not be more wrong on that point.

It's a wry/sarcastic idiom, like calling the Atlantic Ocean "the pond". Nobody actually thinks the Atlantic Ocean is a pond.
You're just guessing. Hint: look up the fourth amendment.
No, this is an important example of the protections afforded by the system, along with things like having access to the evidence being used against you. Secret tribunals and wiretaps might have worked for the Gestapo, but this is America, dammit!
Unless by "dwarf" you mean "less than 10% more" and by "myriad" you mean "exactly one", I invite you to join those of us who live in the real world. You don't have to like Amtrak, but there's plenty of nonsense on the Internet without you adding to it.

vzw actually is a different company, which is partly owned by vz. Fba/fgte are practically separate companies too. I worked for fba (former bell Atlantic) for years and can attest, it's no place for capable doers. It's unbelievable how many layers of dysfunctional middle management are in there, supported only by the fact that vz owns so much legacy infrastructure.

Most good audio software is for Mac. Maybe Windows, but then Windows.

That is quite interesting. I built a hackintosh in 2011 after a lot of research (hoping to use it to produce music if possible) and the only thing that gave me significant trouble was the audio. Would you care to share your setup?
