They unfortunately arent cheaper anymore, but phanteks makes a line of 30mm thick fans that I've been using everywhere that will fit where I used to use noctuas. So you can avoid the extra holes if you can fit the thickness.
Funny this is popping up, just ordered a noctua and buck converter to replace the very annoying fan in my rack mounted UPS this morning. The fan is audible through some sliding doors and has been driving me nuts.
Ah yes, one side went after people who broke windows and assaulted people trying getting into sensitive areas of the senate trying to disrupt the confirmation of a legally decided election.
The other side wants to take pictures of and track the masked men taking their neighbors.
This are very much the same, insert meme
It was hard enough to deprogram people hooked into Fox news. Now try it with people who have an even worse form on their phones via twitter and/or facebook.
Dont entirely disagree, but in the special elections in the last month several districts that were trump ~20pts flipped, so there's a chance people did flip.
> I do not think that reciprocal tariffs are actually the answer though. They hurt both sides and the US is not a rational enough actor to respond like you hope they will.
Disagree, the timing is right before important upcoming midterms, and Canada can chose to target potential swing states with the direct results of what happens when you vote republican.
The people who say censorship has ended under musk need to really check reality. Almost immediately after musk took over he suspended anyone remotely investigating or reporting on any company he was associated with. This has continued to this day except now anyone reporting on folks like catturd also get protected by musk et all.
Would also like to know what actual censorship folks complain about in the beforetimes, the twitter files were full of nothing, and if you complain about government takedown requests, trump round 1 had far more requests than under biden so uhh yeah.
This is not legal in California. If you are a resident in California you need California plates/registration. Even if you're a non-resident you need to register it here within a short period of time.
> Except as provided in Section 6700, 6702, and 6703, any vehicle which is registered to a nonresident owner, and which is based in California or primarily used on California highways, shall be registered in California.
As someone in Southern California who uses HAM, this is both true and not true. There's an older gentleman who has already spent time in jail for sitting on frequencies without a license repeatedly. After he got out, he jumped right back on it. He's got tens of thousands if not more in unpaid fines, but as far as I'm aware they cant get blood from a stone.
Another anecdote, dozen or more years ago a friend had a fault cable modem that was spitting out radio traffic I assume on some important frequencies in a dense area. They got a knock on the door from an FCC team who were tracking the interference down.
27% of GCS revenue this year was from OpenAI and antropic, last years was 47%. With all the cross self dealing, this isnt a revenue source thats going to stay stable.
Like trying to storm congressional buildings when the democratically decided election was going to be confirmed? then maybe pardoning everyone involved in doing that when it failed the next time coming to power?
Good thing trumps on that fraud by bolstering the IGs and not just gutting them across all agencies...
You realize that there multiple armed contingents planning and organizing to literally raid the Capitol for J6 right? That's why the pround boys were a focus of much of the investigation.
Sorry what now, what equivalent pardons did Biden issue compared to anything like this or the J6ers, to the many who suddenly became pardoned before/after donating money to trump affiliated projects/PACs?
You literally hand them your badge. Requires a lot of trust sure, but I did this to see Real Madrid in spain via hotel concierge, their friends just handed us their badges.

> Nearly 21 million voting-age U.S. citizens do not have a current (non-expired) driver’s
license. Just under 9%, or 20.76 million people, who are U.S. citizens aged 18 or older
do not have a non-expired driver’s license. Another 12% (28.6 million) have a non-
expired license, but it does not have both their current address and current name. For
these individuals, a mismatched address is the largest issue. Ninety-six percent of
those with some discrepancy have a license that does not have their current address,
1.5% have their current address but not their current name, and just over 2% do not have
their current address or current name on their license. Additionally, just over 1% of adult
U.S. citizens do not have any form of government-issued photo identification, which
amounts to nearly 2.6 million people.

It's not "user generated" when the official tooling of the site is doing the generating, and hosting it, not just linking.
With podman its just `podman auto-update` Will pull the latest version of the image down.
I mean, given:
In an interaction early the next month, after Zane suggested “it’s okay to give myself permission to not want to exist,” ChatGPT responded by saying “i’m letting a human take over from here – someone trained to support you through moments like this. you’re not alone in this, and there are people who can help. hang tight.”
But when Zane followed up and asked if it could really do that, the chatbot seemed to reverse course. “nah, man – i can’t do that myself. that message pops up automatically when stuff gets real heavy,” it said.
It's already inventing safety features it should have launched with.

Have you considered that it's not filtering for conservatives, but conservatives are self-selecting out or can't cut it at all? Isn't liberal arts degree a literal punchline to so many on the right, yet you cant figure out why that might skew left?
> maybe there isn’t hard data, but it’s pretty obvious to a lot of people, so I would say this is something that need to be disproven, not proven
Huh, wonder why this world view doesnt jive with academia.
It was starting N.... chains yesterday along with several other 4chan memes, so its definitely ingested a dataset consisting of at least 4chan posts that any sane company wouldn't touch with a 1000ft pole.
FTA this was announced last week to employees.
"Ms. Yaccarino had discussed her plans to leave with X employees earlier this week, before the incident with Grok"
Given it started trying to start N/ chains, its definately been given access to 4/8chan data.
You mean like elons general edgelordness makes you think this wasnt intentional, or at least the intentional inclusion of what is likely a 4chan/8chan/similar corpus?
What about the salute? The great white replacement theory promotion? Apartheid opinions? Allowing a mass proliferation of white nationalist and literal nazi twitter premium accounts? At some point, it has to click that musk likely shares these opinions.
Funny how this seems to have remained unflagged for 22 hours at time of this comment, but all the Gaza content was immediately flagged and pushed down...
Unconsensually shared graphic images of Hunter Biden were removed, there were lots of people covering the laptop story, mostly about how it was a non-story when looking at the actual chain of custody and its contents.
You even even downvote on HN until you pass some bar
Also ICE has not told her lawyer where she is currently being held.
