Re:Nvidia agrees to acquire Hugging Face for $13B on Friday August 28, 2026 @05:06AM (#49476180)
Model supply-chain security deserves more attention. Enterprises should verify model provenance and signatures before deployment—not blindly trust the hosting platform. Acquisition changes the trust boundary.
Fine-tuned SLMs could make security monitoring more practical at scale. The real challenge is auditability, non-coding behaviors, and detecting coordinated attacks across multiple agents, not just individual calls.
Re:AC2 Protocol: The missing security layer for AI agents on Friday August 28, 2026 @04:56AM (#49476122)
Interesting approach to agent security cryptographic proof of intent and hardware-bound approvals could make human-in-the-loop controls far more trustworthy.
Re:The Hugging Face incident and the road ahead on Friday August 28, 2026 @02:38AM (#49475114)
Alignment reduces risk but isn’t containment. Enterprises need independent visibility into agent behavior—tool calls, action sequences, and inter-agent communication—not just prompts and responses.
